    Halo Canon, if you want to talk about the other snippets of lore from various other things like you said at the end of this video then I sure that more people than just me would enjoy watching a series that covers that kind of lore.

    I always liked the hardlight shield, as a concept at least, it make me feel like a S-III graving a jackal shield

      Same. I'd love to see it return as equipment, or let us actually use the Jackal shield.

    Also where did you find the additional deets on how all of the packages worked? That from MCC or somewhere else?
    For Survivor; I can honestly see a Mantis having some kind of ejection system. The seat and the upward-standing position of the pilot really just make sense, similar to the vertial ejection system on a Titan in Titanfall or the head module detachment for a BattleMech in BattleTech.

    I've always loved the Halo 4 thruster pack.
    It feels like I have more control within close quarters combat. If I'm lucky, I might get an assassination or two. I've also used it to avoid hurling myself off cliffs. Here's some advice;
    Don't use it immediately after exiting a vehicle while it rolls. That will kill you.
    AA efficiency is a must as it helps me get to reuse my thrusters quickly.
    Survivor is a support module I think is very useful. For example, if someone was using a spartan laser or tank, I would at least get a chance to rethink my strategy. This was also satisfying against banshee users due to the extra height I get from the ejection, which leads to me shutting down their killing spree.

    Survivor was always a favorite of mine back when I played on the 360... As for how it would function in a live fire op with vehicles with closed cockpits, my headcanon was always that it was a short burst inbuilt thruster pack of sorts, which would fire and launch the S-IV out just as the vehicle would explode. Granted, I wasn't exactly lore-versed back then, so I doubt that would work.
    My revised version is that the armor interfaces with the vehicle, and when necessary, gives the S-IV enough of a heads up to say "Hey, this thing's toast" that they can take action, while overriding hatch controls that either pop it open or otherwise unlock it to allow the S-IV to bail out.

    I love the armory videos, knowing more about the weapons, vehicles and technology of the Halo universe is just amazing. Would you make armory videos about the Halo Wars games now that Halo 4 is finished and 5 seems to not be coming to pc just yet?

    For wheelman maybe it does something similar to what Cortana did to chief's shield in the game but instead allows some of the shield to protect the vehicle

      I assumed it was something similar to how spartan owned vehicles in halo wars had shields.

    With what we heard from the monthly Halo infinite news, it’s nice to know that 343 is going back on halo 3 pickup equipment for Halo infinite and can’t wait to see what type of equipment we will get in the game! Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for more news.

    My take on some of the tactical packages and support upgrades is that they actually provide some form of hardware improvements, like improved shield emitters for the shield regen rate and delay upgrades, or more mag hardpoints for the ammo and firepower upgrades.

    I’d like to think the vehicle durability increase for wheelman is due to ONI’s relationship with the Huragok, something similar to Virgil’s shielding of the Olephant just on a less effective scale.

    The registration field is only in multiplayer and spartan ops because in campaign it is no where to be seen

    Maybe we could get Resistor lore if 343 remembered the Champions Bundle and other DLCs existed. Once again, annoyed that for all the kvetching over how MCC should be an archival experience (hello Armor Toggle), there’s still content missing from H4 that was there before.

    7:25 Maybe the UNSC/Spartan Branch always intended for that armour ability to be used temporarily until Thrusters could be integrated as a default feature as seen in Halo 5. Also does the Halo 4 thruster pack give greater distance per use than Halo 5's or is that impression just given by how it transitions to 3rd person when used in H4?

    When playing Spartan Ops I always favoured using loadouts that gave me the most ammo or where I could recover the most ammo. I like my UNSC weapons :))

      Same...or gave me more/faster mobility since I did a lot of Spartan Ops on solo legendary meaning needing to do a lot of running to get back to where you died. XD

    About the firepower explanation and the UNSC limiting loadout options, it is probably the same reason modern militarys do, Logistics would become significantly more complicated. Just think about the Spartan Laser's battery pack problems.

    I really hope 343 brings back Champion DLC armor. I personally miss the Mark 5 but ODST and Prefect were awesome. This video is the most noise I've heard about the armor being missing.

    One quick thing
    It IS possible to have shields recharge when using the Hardlight Shield. To do it, all you need to do us load up a custom game, and set AAs to unlimited. Since the AA will not go away, it will allow your shields to Recharge. I did this a while back on H4 with a friend. Unsure if it's possible to do it on MCC

    You shuld do vidoes for halo wars 1 and 2. Lots of lore for the new vehicles there.

    Perhaps for Wheelman they make a vehicle more durable by tactilely connecting Mjolnir to the vehicle and expanding the Spartan's overshield around the vehicle. But once the thin overshield is broken (ie. the vehicle becomes too far gone) the shield snaps back to the Spartan. For Survivor, you could apply the same logic, tactile contact with any vehicle could allow a dumb AI to figure out the structural integrity of a given vehicle and tell a Spartan when the bail. This would fix how this would work for a Mantis, Wraith, Scorpion, or Banshee.

      Blue Team. They have so much more experience that would given them a notable edge, even over Noble Team's superior numbers. It would be close, for sure, but Blue Team would be the likely victors.

      @@Michael_OBrian If it was a wargames simulation then I don't think Jorge would care. But if Noble was in the place of Osiris during Halo 5 then I could see him being conflicted kinda like Buck was.

    Explosive bolts in the canopy of vehicles and for gunner the armor might absorb some of the heat from the turret I don't know maybe
