Wait, I don’t remember there being an energy sword on Crows Nest, unless he got it from the Arbiter, but that can’t be, since it’s got a hundred charge. Unless if I’m missing something here...
If you kill the Arbiter enough on any level, he's eventually spawn with a full energy sword. So I had to spend about 10 minutes just killing him until he spawned with it (and DIDN'T kill me right away, lol) and the wait a couple minutes for him to stop being mad at me so I could continue through the level. So no mods needed. You basically kill him until he spawns with a sword once, then you have to kill him again as quickly as possible, before he fully revives and he'll drop a full-battery sword. Then avoid being killed by him for a few and you're golden.

13:61 I find that funny because in game, a spike grenade only seems to tickle enemies unless they are right on top of it or get stuck. The spike grenade relay is only useful to stick single enemies with it, and even then, I would rather use a plasma grenade since that deals more area damage than a spike grenade. Maybe it’s purpose is to stick enemies who will kamikaze on you.
I really don't understand this weird weight thing with covenant weapons. The spiker is 6.4kg, which is pretty easy to lift one handed for even particularly weak people. In halo 1 Keyes makes a big deal about picking up a needler, having to hoist it up him when it was also only about 6kg, which makes me think twenty sixth century humanity are incredibly frail. I get it with regards to say the plasma turret which is 30kg, but that still isn't that heavy and definitely shouldn't slow the chief down at all but for gameplay reasons I get. Basically bungie done a really shit job with scaling the weight of these weapons and also with the size of certain things in lore and gameplay. Love them, but whenever I see the weapons pop up I expect say the spiker to be like 20kg, something only a Spartan can easily dual wield and no man could, but I could pretty easily duel wield 6.4 kgs, I'll even do a video of it if I have to.
Interestingly, the Spiker has no built in mechanical safety, as is the case with most Brute weaponry. The intense trigger pull required might count as one though.
So things such as the Ghost, manufactured by the Iruiru Armory are seen, at least in Halo 3, only by Loyalist forces. Meaning at least lore wise, wouldn't all the ghosts in Halo 3 be just from ship reserves?
I really hope a lot of old stuff makes an appearance in Infinite, even if it's forge only. The brute weapons and vehicles from Halo 3, needle rifle, focus rifle, the brute shot (also in Halo 2, which is why I mentioned it).

Well in the live chat, he did mention it was a pain to get one on Crow's Nest so I'm assuming he killed the Arbiter for one.

Considering Brute strength, it's not surprising, but in human hands, it would be quite difficult to fire from the pulling needed.
