2:57 they clearly saw that she had worked up a sweat in the blistering heat from having to change a tyre so to help out they cooled her down with some clear spring water - very thoughtful guys :)
+Vlad Svoka There is a substantial difference between being anti social and just being rude and perhaps not offering assistance to a rider who could use a hand with a tire or other trail side repair.
some people want to be competitive. strava or no strava competitive people are going to push there limits. if ur racing are u going to pull up to chat up a chick, give directions, or repair some randomes bike... fuck no. if u want to make a valid argument then what about those that go 50km/h between pedestrians, or run red lights. now those people are assholes, looks to me like the makers of this video just dont like strava.
This video isn’t saying competing on strava is bad it is just saying that a lot of people are too focused on their strava to have fun and meet people on the trails.
Excellent use of a sense of humour. greatly appreciated, I know how long you probably had to wait for those people to come by on those occasions, you were lucky to get them on first takes too.
I laughed. Just got onto Strava a week ago and am guilty of ending a ride by pulling out my cell phone first thing to see how many miles I did. I kinda understand the mindset but never fear, I'm the kinda guy who stops to look at rock formations, read the historical markers or gaze at the rippling water. But it's there though, I won't let it get the best of me.
😂 Clever! A pet peeves on Strava video would be great. I'm over the boring walk home from pub or look at me I have a social life pub crawl jamming up my Strava especially on the weekends 🙄
Oh, I never get tired of stumbling across this gem. It still cracks me up that 139 people must have been ribbed a bit to close to home. Can't wait to ride with you guys again!
You can be StravAthelete and still be nice on the trail. Besides, when I'm out training, I'm not there to socialize or hang around chatting, I'm on a training mission. Also, people who tend to use the term "Stravasshole" are jealous slow pokes lol.
Now that's some funny shit, I sorta knew what strava was but never realized it was so competitive. Now I understand the deal when people blow by at breakneck speeds and just say one world "strava". I think I'll skip even learning how to record segments on my gps computer and just stick with trying to beat my personal average speeds. Thanks for making the video, watched it 3 times and laughed each one, that pov shot of everyone scrambling to get out of the bike's way was my favorite.
I was always confused when my speed average after a group ride was slower than everyone else. I found out they would start the ride after the slow warm up and stop the ride before the slow cool down. I thought how bad do riders want to impress others on paper?! I now do that also...
Lol I once had to say hi over 100 times walking a trail. Sometimes you can't be arsed with other people. When I go on a run the headphones go on and I will dead ass ignore anybody even if they were waving there hands at me screaming.
I always try to keep my best time using this, but I don't really care too much about time. Just more on pushing mileage. This video is hilarious I've seen these guys haha!
Ugh, but now, at least from what I've seen, the biggest threat to trail etiquette isn't ride tracking, but Pokemon Training... So many people not watching where they're going, groups hogging whole trails wide enough for two way traffic two abreast, stopping suddenly and without warning, and generally making paths unsafe and unwelcoming.
I'm a newbie to Strava. I like the app. I don't see the app as a force that is driving me. I also still see cyclists asking me if I am ok if I am stopped. There is still some sense of community out there in the cycling world. Today I just saw how you can view other people's times. I noticed the top rider in the list had a top speed in the city traffic showing as 75 mph. I say bullshit.
Love the dog! Some trail runner with big guns almost knocked a lady over that was hiking with me on Table Mountain. After watching this I'm guessing he's just a #stravasshole
Such bad and good behavior happened long before Strava, but yes I think it leads to more of it. BTW, starting with the whole trying to pick up people while riding is not a good thing.
HAHAHA so true though lol. There's a segment on the coastal trail where bunch of tourists stroll around looking at the ocean... I'm over here at VO2 max going 24mph trying not to to hit anyone. #Stravasshole
I still ask if riders on the side of the trail are okay but I don't stop unless it's an emergency. I never carry tools anyway so it doesn't matter. Here is a link to a segment I created that is part of a loop ridden backwards at night. So far only one other person has Stravad it and he was on a unicycle. www.strava.com/segments/6802550
I guess even dogs are using Strava nowadays...
ㅋㅋ, I agree~
Hahaha! I think the dog had the most fun out of the video shoot.
Girls, if you can't Strava we can't date
2:57 they clearly saw that she had worked up a sweat in the blistering heat from having to change a tyre so to help out they cooled her down with some clear spring water - very thoughtful guys :)
An absolute Classic, and yes definitely needs a road version.
Its all about the cups.
Btw, not everyone likes to socialize. I go to out to enjoy nature, and avoid humans, not the opposite.
+Vlad Svoka There is a substantial difference between being anti social and just being rude and perhaps not offering assistance to a rider who could use a hand with a tire or other trail side repair.
I do just the same! Me and no one, but i stop for a fellow rider in need
Me too.
Yes that’s what bikes especially the mountain variety are for. Free independence in the middle of nowhere :3

THANK YOU! someone understands

And now: How to spot Stravassholes in the comment section...
Damn this is a great comment lol
6 years and this is the comment I get.

@@billtankovich3676 all good things come to those who wait!
Love how the dog don't stop either, would make me feel so much better. THISSSS ISSSS STRAVAAAAAAA
You need to make a road bike version of this!
There are non Stravasshole roadies?
@@MrPijus123 yeah
The dog is the real MVP of this video!
The ride finish one killed me! Haha!
so being a stravasshole means i get to do jumps and drift? nice!
The fact it says "you trade your passion for glory" is spot on.
No need for frenzied panic at the end. Auto-pause function allows one be a little less of a Stravarsehole.
podfunk, verdade... Mas assim ficou mais engraçado lol
Excellent use of a sense of humour. greatly appreciated, I know how long you probably had to wait for those people to come by on those occasions, you were lucky to get them on first takes too.

Iam a strava addict...... give its due gets you fit 👌But some people take it way too seriously....... 😠
😂 Clever! A pet peeves on Strava video would be great. I'm over the boring walk home from pub or look at me I have a social life pub crawl jamming up my Strava especially on the weekends 🙄
the ones yelling "strava , strava , strava" coming down the trail...awe the audacity of the people. I feel like throwing a stick in their spokes.
Oh, I never get tired of stumbling across this gem. It still cracks me up that 139 people must have been ribbed a bit to close to home. Can't wait to ride with you guys again!
The dog was the best part. A natural born actor!
what a good dog :)
This is pure gold. Well done Sir!
Does the dog own any segments?
stealing the scenes to be sure
Ok, I am a road biker, but that ride finish skit rang too close for comfort XD
Awesome vid :)
Awesome video, good job. Love the trail dog too.
The hiker stunt was pretty solid!
Very funny and true! Well done! 😂
I make a point of going for Strava times on 10% hills - up only. Maybe on the flat and definitely not down hill or in traffic
Looks like the dog had a nice day out.
That has got to be the happiest and most healthy doggie in the world. I dont get KOMs yet but I will work myself to death for a new PB!
The dogs a beast!

Training? Ok, Lance.
It has auto-stop. So you don't have to close it on exact time you finish your ride.
I think the point is that they are checking their times.
Hilarious. Excellent point made, in a humorous way. You get the video KOM
Exaggeration, but funny ;)
+
Amusing - kind of glad I got old and slow before Strava came along.
So Strava reduces your sex-drive?
netfischer So getting KOMs reduces your sex drive and seeing them increases it?
Totally enjoyed this. Thanks!!

get with the times, get on strava and like up the boys segment

good video^^. love your dog too!
The dog really makes the video awesome.
Make no mistake i'll die for that KOM... I ride road though, thug life...
Oh God.....I'm a Stravasshole and I didn't even realise it......
lol, i was smiling! spring time is just around the cornerrrrrrr! cool!
Awesome and funny!
01:23 That’s totally me! And I don’t even own Strava. I am simply a superfluous negative human being.
this video makes a valid point
Omg when he jumped through the map had me dying🤣🤣
I needed this. Thanks!
Good vid you must of had fun filming this!!
My favorite sticker on my truck is " STRAVA - outing cycling's douche-bags".
Brilliant! I loved it!
Kaitlin you're awesome ! :- )
It's for triathlonists and runners too.
I always try to keep my best time using this, but I don't really care too much about time. Just more on pushing mileage. This video is hilarious I've seen these guys haha!
Great! Wanna be a Stravasshole, too. I like most the "Navigation: After Strava" :-)))))
That must be one very fit dog🐕
The dog 🐕 running behind em🤣🤣 oh my
Funny! Just wished the music chosen fit the video. But still hilarious.

very true and funny clip .. enjoyed it a lot.
To get on the leaderboards do you have to have the monthly paid version?
Brilliant video made me laugh out loud literally
"Eye of the Strava"
I use Strava (and like it), but not at the expense of fucking it up for everyone else. Life is just way to short. Great video!!!
Haha
Excellent video, it explains exactly how I feel about Strava ... that's why I don't use it and I use other applications that are less social.
By these standards I’m a complete Stravasshole. In fact I think I’ll even get the t-shirt.
Awesome video!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Who down voted this hilarious video?? Oh yeah - 302 Stravassholes.
Against the Modern World I don't bike for fun I bike for competition so it's not my fault if i am trying my hardest
End bit is priceless XD
LOL...sorta. Do we have to compete even when relaxing on a cycle?
I'm a newbie to Strava. I like the app. I don't see the app as a force that is driving me. I also still see cyclists asking me if I am ok if I am stopped. Probably a gps glitch or was in a car.
My Sponsor want to see my KOMs Brah.
I can't stop laughing... Ridding through the map genius haha
Great video
Love the dog!
Some trail runner with big guns almost knocked a lady over that was hiking with me on Table Mountain. After watching this I'm guessing he's just a #stravasshole
In the "before Strava" meeting hikers on the trail, the proper etiquette is to yield the trail to the hiker, not ride by while trying to pet the dog.
Funny, especially the map part.
The last part of the cherry on top
I like the dog in the video, he is a pro actor, too.
Amazing. Hilarious. Strong work!
I loved the Strava Dog!!!
The dog is the real star of this video. :P
Such bad and good behavior happened long before Strava, but yes I think it leads to more of it.
BTW, starting with the whole trying to pick up people while riding is not a good thing.
First 2 were a bit weird, they basically werent perverts and then the second one the girls were blocking the trail on a downslope.
HAHAHA so true though lol. There's a segment on the coastal trail where bunch of tourists stroll around looking at the ocean... I'm over here at VO2 max going 24mph trying not to to hit anyone. #Stravasshole
What trails are those?
I've never laid my bike down that much
This is the greatest TH-cam video in world history!!!! :)
I think the fault is not the Strava.
It blames the dog that is trying to bite cyclists.
kkkkkkk
love your 🐶
Thumb up for the dog which is the only one working out

Cute dog. :-)
There are scenes here in which I recognize myself and that was 30 years ago when I got my first mountain bike! It's not Strava. It's us.
unleashed dog on single track. Now... that's what Dennis would call an "A..SS..H.O.L.E.....EVERYBODY!"
