I got Advance Wars 1&2 for 10.00 new at my local Walmart when they were clearing out games. I should have picked up both copies but they had Xenoblade 3 and Kirby All Star Allies for the same price so got those instead.
It’s still sealed so probably will keep it that way till have time to play it. I can wait to try it though
I see that Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story is also available on the Switch. I picked it up on Steam recently, but I haven't looked at it yet. It looks like it has the same depth of history as the Atari 50 collection.

Id really like to get the FF remasters but man they’re kinda expensive.
IMO collections are the best way to get older games onto new consoles so newer players can enjoy them without having to invest in tons of older hardware.
Man that Final Fantasy collection is basically a grail at this point. So much gameplay in one collection.

Scott's pretty excited for the Dragon quest collection that's coming out. Some of our favorites on the switch are the Ori collection and the FF Pixel Remaster as you mentioned.
I love compilations as well, nothing wrong with that!
I cannot wait for the DQ collection! And I very much need to pick up Ori - I've played it on Gamepass, but I want it physical on Switch. My copy of Wargroove 1&2 from Super Rare is out for delivery and I'm REALLY excited to get that one as well. :)
The Atari 50 is mind blowing. I can’t believe they’re adding even more. It’s hard to explain how far it goes beyond just being a bunch of games to play.
The Cowabunga Collection is definitely my favorite, especially with the updates that allow TMNT 3 and TMNT 4 to be played online. Now that my nephew has a PS5, we can really have a lot of fun with these games.
My Wargroove 1 + 2 should be arriving any day now from Super rare ❤

Though I'm not a pixel fan in modern games, Advance Wars lacks the critty look & feel without it.
I've already picked up Megaman Legacy Collection I and II.
I can't believe I've been playing this franchise from the beginning, it's still my favorite, and I STILL RAGE QUIT EVERY TIME!
For me it is Another Code Recollection. It a full remake from ground up to two games, completely changes the puzzles, POV, and some of the story and turn them into one game.
If that's doesn't count, I go with FF7 and FF8 double pack. The switch is the only way to play FF7 physically aside from the ps1
I wanted to ask you square pegs, if usually heard talk about play asia being good but I was always concerned of buying a gsme and not being able to play it in english due to the language barrier. Do most games if not all from play asia come with english built in?
I couldn't give you a percentage, but the descriptions for each product will spell it out and say whether or not there's English text. :)

Not an Atari fan also but the Atari 50 is an absolute history lesson in gaming and it also comes with a cool gold steel book! And it only cost me £10 so got two and one is staying sealed had to be done at that price

Nope. Primary focus is arcade games with a few additions - doesn't have the Pac-Man World games either, but that's not the focus of the collection. :)
The street fighter collection is pretty good
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection is so overpriced. I'd love to get it, but I can't justify $100 for a collection like that.
I agree, but it's one of those titles that I wasn't going to pass up on or buy piecemeal digitally. It was definitely a case of 'Well, I've got the money, might as well'.
$100 for 6 remastered games seems a fair price to me. $16 or so per game? Yes please.

Compilation time
Super fun video and keep them coming please! Both the game collections and your videos to be specific. You had a few on your list that I thought of immediately so I approve of course. I'm happy that NEO GEO Pocket Vol 1 worked out so well for you! A few collections that I have and enjoy you didn't mention are the Capcom Beat Em Up/Belt Action Collection, Blaster Master Zero Trilogy, Disney Classic Games Collection (Aladdin, Jungle Book and Lion King), Double Dragon Collection, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection, Ori: The Collection, Ray'z Arcade Chronology, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Collection and Super Mario 3D All Stars. There are a few more but my list would be huge. Enjoy SEGE! I will be skipping it but it's on my radar for the future. Take care! 🟩

@@SquarePegsIt's real cheap here in the UK and I believe it was only a PEGI release, a must buy imo I believe play Asia was carrying them also
