Very nice explanation, but what should also be mentioned is the reason why cholesterol even builds those plaques. The intima needs to first be damaged (e.g. oxidative stress) in order for the cholesterole to accumulate and build plaque. It is a chronic inflammatory disease of the blood vessels (in the case of the heart, coronary arteries) that leads to plaque in the first place. Same obviously happens in all the other organs as well. Strokes, peripheral artery disease etc. What I'm trying to say is, we can't just blame the cholesterole, when the cause for plaque is mostly oxidative stress and other causes for chronic inflammation

Thank you for addressing this issue regarding daylight savings. I worked in healthcare for decades, mainly with the old old. The last decade and a half, I actually did live-in positions. I caught on to the daylight savings problems with the elderly early on. I let them make the adjustment on their own. Many stayed on their own standard time. When the clock went forward, they never gave up that hour of sleep. I tried telling people daylight savings time had an adverse affect on old folks. Glad that it's finally being addressed. Thank you Chubbyemu for bringing this problem to light. I've also thought that hospitals could be more patient oriented, by taking the patients regular schedule into consideration - nursing homes too. No reason shift changes duties, in the medical field, can not be made to save lives.
I'm a young person and I have hated clock changes for most of my life. I don't change my watch and just add on an hour or take one off. It just makes the day go faster when it changes and it's really disorientating. I've gotten used to it in the last few years, so it isn't so bad as it used to be.

lol Yeah this cracked me up and yeah not hard to understand
Very nice explanation, but what should also be mentioned is the reason why cholesterol even builds those plaques. The intima needs to first be damaged (e.g. oxidative stress) in order for the cholesterole to accumulate and build plaque. It is a chronic inflammatory disease of the blood vessels (in the case of the heart, coronary arteries) that leads to plaque in the first place. Same obviously happens in all the other organs as well. Strokes, peripheral artery disease etc. What I'm trying to say is, we can't just blame the cholesterole, when the cause for plaque is mostly oxidative stress and other causes for chronic inflammation
this is a more professional and medically correct “1,000 ways to die” series
Very true
YOOO so im not the only one who’s seen that show. I remember watching it when i was super young and then a few years later I faintly remembered the show and tried to find it again but i couldn’t so i just shrugged it off as a fever dream. Tbh from what i remember, that show is kinda comedic, like one of the cases was a guy that choked on a hotdog and died.. that sounds stupid, like he inhaled the entire wiener somehow. No normal person can do that lmfao
Dude I loved that show when it was still on
bro but most of the videos are like eating ten pounds of something or drinking eight gallons of something
either that or something that seems harmless, like this, or eating gas station nachos
Rin Willows I REMEMBER THAT. like he was eating while running the hotdog was just the right shape and size to completely obstruct his trachea. shits hilarious to think about

HEY!
Builder no:88457475 Is a newly manufactured lego builder presenting to the emergency room with a severe case of crusdetrmintina crus coming from the Latin word for leg and detrimitina coming from the Latin word detrimentum that means loss. severe-leg-loss. now usually a treatment for this is very simple find a donor leg that fits pop it on, send the patient home and tell them to come back if it starts getting loose however in 88457475's case they were unable to find a suitable donor leg in the required time and they cant just fit any old donnor leg onto 88457475 as that may cause a condition where the figure is no longer suitable for their intended purpose which could cause figure abandonment or as in most cases dismantlement. they place 88457475 on a temporary life support machine while they look for his leg. and within a few hours they found it floating in the lego city river. they immediately transport the leg in a rescue helicopter back to the hospital and access the damage to it the leg barley passes the transplant specification standard only one more paintchip and the leg wouldn't be viable. they immediately rush 88457475 into the reassembly room and in a gruelling 3-minute operation reattach his leg. he was discharged the following day and made a full recovery

The state I live in, in Australia , is the only one which doesn't have Daylight Saving.
I'm a young person and I have hated clock changes for most of my life.
I don't change my watch and just add on an hour or take one off.
It just makes the day go faster when it changes and it's really disorientating.
I've gotten used to it in the last few years, so it isn't so bad as it used to be.
To be fair, it makes things much safer for people driving to work in the morning and children going to school.
these videos terrify me. i feel like all the normal things i do will end terribly.
