One of the best Kung-Fu movies ever. I watched this when I was 12 and now I'm in my 50s enjoying it again. Everything about this movie is great . Shaolin vs Lama and Shaolin vs Ninja are a couple of my other fave Kung-Fu movies. The flying guillotine is another classic.
What I like about this movie is the teacher-student interactions in training. The teachers are portrayed as most sincere in making sure that each and every student learns correctly. They are strict but at the same time kind in giving advice and cheerful. The training scenes are so beautiful that it makes you want to become a student of such great teachers.
There's time for everything. With determination and perseverance, you will be victorious. It doesn't matter all what you're going through in life. I just love this kungfu movie.
Excellent, Incredible, Amazing, Inspiring, Superb Kungfu movie, I truly appreciated & enjoyed watching this excellent kungfu movie, A million thanks for providing English translation, I love ♥️kung fu movie 🎥 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🇵🇭
These Shaw Brother’s movies were a great escape for me in high school when I used to cut class or watch on week end’s here in Hawaii, those were good time’s ! 🤙
These 70s movies from HK are so much more better, more authentic and more realistic than the Kung Fu movies from 90s I think. Watching these 70s old movies makes me feel I have been transported in time to the Ch'ing (Manchu) dynasty. When I watch the movies from the 90s (including the Jet Lee ones who I like by the way), I feel like I am watching a movie on a TV screen.
Jet Li did some good stuff in the early 80s that's more like this old Shaw Brothers style (the 80s Shaolin Temple, Martial Arts of Shaolin, etc). The latter movie was directed by the same director of this in fact. But generally the 90s is when choreography started focusing more on wirework and over-the-top fantastical stuff.
Yep, and apparently it’s been stated that that’s what the audience of that era wanted…While there is the odd gem from the 90’s none of it compares to the dedication and physical effort put in to this genre of films from the previous decades that still hold up to this day.
@@TheFiestyhick - Shaolin Avengers - Executioners from Shaolin - Heroes Two - Men from the Monastery - Shaolin Temple (Shaw brothers version) These five movies above are all Shaw brothers HK movies made in the 1970s about true historical figures Hong Xi-Guan (洪熙官), Fang Shi-Yu (方世玉), and Hu Wei-Qian (胡微乾) who were escapees from Shaolin Temple. Shaw brothers in my opinion do not attempt to overdramatise the historical events and just portray the raw history with excellent and authentic Martial Arts onscreen. All top quality movies. I think later movies starting possibly from late 80s, 90s and so on about the same historical events, try to make the plot more enjoyable, entertaining, catering to happy endings and to pleasing a wider audience which invariably (in my opinion) significantly reduces the quality and impact of the movies. The era the movies are supposed to be depicting was serious, tragic and tumultuous times in the history of South China. Anyways, I highly recommend all five movies. There are possibly one or two more movies in that series but I can't recall them at the moment. Finally, I believe Jesus Christ is lord, the prince of peace through whom man is reacquainted with God. Seek the lord Jesus while he may be found!
Yes! "The 36 Chamber of Shaolin"" the best movie I ever remember, it was more than 2hrs. I still watching it at home and never forget any one word and steps from.
This is one of my favorites. Legendary Weapons of China is a good one I found. I consider 36th Chamber Shaolin one of the best movies ever made of any genre.
@@RandQuadrozzi It was a movie called as eight diagram pole fighter. Fu Sheng had not been offered any role for 36 chambers. He was not a member of cast. Gordon Liu is the best character of Monk.
I saw this movie like 10 times at least, i just noticed for the first time that Yuen Siu Tien was in it, he plays a very small role, he's at 59:51 This guy was the best.

I just wish the 90s didn’t have so much of the action sped up. It looked cartoonish!
