Sofi Tukker has probably done more to promote tourism in Brazil than the Brazilian ministry of tourism.

And Sofi Tukker, what a fantastic innovative music, beautiful the new Brazilian dance song, wonderful to let me go at 67. Thank you all for the fantastic moments that I get for free again and again.

during the interview Sophie reveals that Drinkee was born of her first ever attempt at playing electric guitar. there's something really profound and magical about such an admission. the guitar community itself is mired in this never-ending obsession with speed and shredding and tone. but when you look at the kind of music that actually moves culture and stands the test of time; it's astoundingly simple and bare. where one artist spends 10,000 hours attempting to master their instrument and craft their sound, another simply picks up a used axe and starts plucking away without any real plan or intention. and here she is, touring the world, inspiring millions of listeners. the key ingredient is passion and voice. no amount of time can make up for being passionate and having something to say.
I love this video. They should release a KEXP live album, because these songs deserve to be heard by everyone forever.

@@llcinbound5721 I know next to nothing about producing music, but what I do know is that KEXP makes music sound better than the album version, so why don't artists use KEXP to record their albums?
Maybe KEXP don't offer this kind of service, but they definitely should. Or maybe they already do and I just don't know.

i love them so much. one of my favorite things about them is that they're so humble, and so appreciative of what they have. not to mention you can tell they're genuinely friends. not just bandmates.
Yes, I met them 6 years ago at a Grammys celebrity gifting lounge in Beverly Hills. Down to earth, a bit shy.

I love these guys. Spent a couple of hundred pounds travelling to London to see them and, let me tell you, it was worth every penny. Infectious positivity and amazing tunes!
