My long-distance e-Bike tour from Indiana to Boston, Massachusetts. I head down the Erie Canal from Mud Lock to Fort Plain for the night. Route: ridewithgps.com/routes/43237806
Another good ride and that goose wasn't fooling around. To bad about the GoPro but now to find something better. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Ha, you name dropped my hometown of Fairport right at the top! Crazy to think you easily got from there to Syracuse (#GoOrange) so quickly... if only I had an e-bike back in college. Great video as always... looking forward to sharing our conversation with folks on 11/30!
Pretty high mileage each and every day! Thru hikers sometimes take zeros when in beautiful areas or towns, but that ups hotel/campground cost of course. My longest one day trip was 122 mi around Lake Okeechobee FL. I had two 750 Wh batteries and barely made it on a sunny day with not much wind. Part of the route was on the Eastern Divide Trail (EDT)😃
Yes, absolutely, that GoPro Hero 7 must go, Brian. Again, DJI and retailers are selling the Osmo Action 3 right now at a discounted price of $279, which is very hard to pass up, especially because it's a great action cam with outstanding performance AND reliability/dependability. Grab this price while you can! 🙂
I always enjoy traveling along with you on your bike route. You are very good at improvising when things come up that potentially could put a wrinkle in your plans. Stay safe :)
Oh my gosh I just thought of something else I wonder if you’re going to go across the Tobin Bridge to get to Boston. That’s a scary bridge. I don’t think you could ride a bike on that. But if I remember that was north of the city are used to go in the Boston from Salem so you would become in from the west side of the city I would guess. Guess I will find out soon enough.
Wow! What an incredible route. Can’t wait to see the rest of it. I’ve lived in Michigan my whole life but I did move to Boston a long time ago but only lasted there about six months and came back home lol. Very very very busy with a lot of people. But can’t wait to see it again when you’re riding through it on a bike that’s gonna be incredible. New York feels like it takes just forever to get through I remember that lol.
I sincerely enjoy your videos Brian. I am curious how you pick routes for safety. Have you ever done the Katy trail in Missouri. That’s my plan. All the way across the state.
I'm sure you're looking for incoming traffic through Syracuse on the bike path with stop signs. Be careful as traffic doesn't stop while they cross the bike path.
What's the matter Brian, Geese got you down? HAHAHA, FUN STUFF! On the serious side, have you considered the DJI osmo action camera? I use the original osmo action for my videos and have never had a problem with it in the almost two years that I've had it and paid under $200 for it. I believe the latest model is the osmo action 4 and is priced around $400 I just thought I would mention it. Looking forward to the next video.
Look at the DJI Osmo Action 4. I have had the first gen one and its been flawless for me. The new series 4 one is supposed to be even better and you can bet a bundle with a charger and a couple batteries. That will be my next purchase when i upgrade mine.
His is home-built, 50 amp-hour at 52 volt, based on his comments. It uses 21700 batteries, again, based on recent comments he has made. My personal interest in this is a desire to construct a battery of similar capacity, for what *I* ride - as I’d like to do stuff like in these vids.
Your Bike Helmet looks very very Cool 😎

I enjoy the music also I'm not usually one for music especially songs on TH-cam but that music definitely works !😊
I love that you’re biking in areas that I frequent from time to time with my bike
Thanks again for the ride along. 😎👍
Thank you, for the inspiration

Oneida...that's not far from where I grew up. Grew up off the Oneida Lake near Sylvan Beach.
Noted the Helmet. Will need to replace mine in the next year or so.
I asked why before but it's nice to see your travels and do hope you stay safe! 😊

Ah, I see you’ve done it. Lol

What bike do you recommend and what battery or batteries do you use. I really enjoy your videos looks rewarding and fun.
