Credit to the bike yes but credit to you Al, top tier rider. I reckon with better fueling and the rear sorted she'd be an absolute weapon. Awesome your kids are there with you, hella weekend I'm sure cheers
Wholesome is how this video can be described. As a recent RSV4 owner that sold the Aprilia for an 890 Adventure R, this makes me wish I’d bought the 890 Duke R. Love you 44T boys. Hope Boothy is doing well
Agree with everything you said, especially the part about Boothy! I know he had that horrible accident at the TT but I want him to know we’ve been missing him and worried about him. Anywho, just wanted to wish him the best possible recovery ❤from Texas!
Top work Al! Family atmosphere and huge amounts of fun is what it's all about at this level of racing, it was really great seeing how much your lads were enjoying it, just brilliant!
Yay👏 That was fun! Always the best seeing you race, and having the boyz with you their as your pit crew was very sweet to see. Great for the lads, quite the memorable family experience. Hope to see many more. Great work👏
hell yeah, sweet swopping spots and not giving up. i've always liked to sit behind and chase, look for the passing locations and hit them on the 2nd or last lap. great fun!
Nice one Al…..bloody good riding, especially in the last race, as you said, a bit of fettling would have seen you right on the rear of those triumphs…..👍🇮🇲🤘
Awesome job and great video!! So awesome to see your family there with you enjoying it and sharing that experience. I gotta say though as a Triumph Street Triple R 765 owner it gave me a nice grin to see them way up ahead.
This is road racing at it’s core camping at the track and building bikes in hotels all night to make back to race on Sunday. Get that rear shock sorted and we used to use gmd computrac to align everything and build our front forks on the gixxers love to see grass roots racing good luck buddy
You could make this a series on its own. "Racing with Fagan!" The race highlight commentary was some of the best ever. The Kids look like they had a wonderful time. Shame we cant see more.
I have been perfecting my 990 Superduke over the years. Forged OZ wheels, proper mapping, Scotts steering damper, and a proper weight saving(166kg dry) But those 890Rs are really fantastic bikes with limited mods.
Nice pit crew! Power Commander 5 with an EDR performance map will solve that issue with the 600s! I found dropping one tooth on the front and adding one in the back helped get some pull back when going to a larger rear tire (180/60 Pirelli SC3).
Between the camera angle and the play by play, I found myself tensing up on the second race as if I were racing, and I haven't raced in almost 50 years (DAMN, am I really THAT old!?). LOL! It was short track in junior high. Keep up the great work, and look forward to the Boothy update!
The reaction of one your wee lads, terribly sorry " Paddock Crew " @23.20 says it all, and at Brands Hatch. Splendid video, I felt like I was on the back of the bike. Still want to do a track day even at 63. Let's encourage track days for pensioners... with HUGE discounts of course. Yaaarrr
That was a great video, well ridden races and neat to see how you exploit the strengths of the 890. Love what you've done to your bike and you certainly have the best pit crew! I have a 790 Adventure R and 1290 SD/GT. Went riding with some big boys the other day on S. Alabama back roads with the 790 and was surprised how it kept up even on Dunlop Mission 50/50 tires, so now seriously thinking of selling the 1290 for an 890 Duke R, especially since if I drop the 1290 I need help lifting it up; I even struggle with the 790 R (it's tall!)
Top stuff as always Al...... looked like you were proper enjoying it. You might find the class starts to expand with the demise of Thundersport GB as there will be a lot of people looking to find a cheap"ish" class to race in now. Well done and a well deserved Maccy D's .....look forward to seeing how the legend that is Boothy is doing with the update
Dude I gotta say you got some talent. I know you joke around and say your not good or whatever but damn man I’m really impressed couple of those moves were gutsy. Congrats bud 👏🏻🤘🏻
Mate !! Brilliant! ... Hope you Guy's are coming to brand's! ... If you're come to Oxford racing and grab a coffee!.. always welcome... Ben hospitality.. sweeeeeeet...
1:16 Haha, creepy! A couple of scenes earlier I was thinking "That spring looks soft for him, I wonder if they're allowed to change it?" 😀 I have a 1290 SD and have the same problem... A little jelly, though. Riding THAT class with THAT bike must be amazing! Gogogo KTM!
WHAT A RACE| Cute kids. I am cursed with owning a very competent Speed Twin. It really is the best Bonneville you can buy. It has long since stopped scaring me and I don't know what to do. Nothing that replaces it does so with enough merit to warrant the change. What is the best bike ever made that no one talks about and why is it the Thruxton R?
Awesome racing content. I am curious though, you mentioned you kept the revs low on launch, which means you didn't use "Launch Control"? Can't you just dump the clutch at high revs when you're in LC in the track pack?
How cool is it to share what you love with your boys?! They must be so proud. Awesome
Also, a great pit crew lol.
Unless what you love is threesomes.
To many excuses ~ Its right over Sean emett style or nothing @
My kids are proud of me and I drive a digger lmao
95 kilos flaccid 😂😂😂
Blame the bike
Seriously the only racing content I enjoy watching these days. Great commentary.
I still prefer MotoGP and wsbk
Try WSBK

Buy the DukeR too, then you’ll be sexy on and off road!!
Agree with everything you said, especially the part about Boothy! I know he had that horrible accident at the TT but I want him to know we’ve been missing him and worried about him. Anywho, just wanted to wish him the best possible recovery ❤from Texas!
Right now I'm faced with same same decision
Are you happy you went with the adv?
Ktm seems to make both the best middleweight adv and naked..
You guys are regularly doing that which LOTS of us would wish to do !!! Fantastic that the youngsters are getting their racing start like this !!
3.08 the lads doing the tyres ..made my heart melt looks like a great time.. I might do that next year
Great video !!! I loved the kids being there helping you out , they are going to remember this day forever….
This is a bike I’ve been waiting to see raced! Much more manageable power, expenses etc. Plus it looks super fun!
Stunning first attempt with a raw bike.Respect 💯🤜
Awesome video! Would love more of these race day types!
Agree the class needs more love. Those bikes are the most fun!
Top work Al! Family atmosphere and huge amounts of fun is what it's all about at this level of racing, it was really great seeing how much your lads were enjoying it, just brilliant!

My heart started beating faster watching that last lap! :-D
I love your awesome commentary. Not making a hero of yourself... which for sure you are to your boys! Superb.
Real pleasure to watch!
Mate that’s a wicked video!! Well done on the race. Very inspiring.
Great video, your lads are more confident on the paddock stands than I’ve ever been!
I can't believe KTM even put your picture on the dash. Top notch there.
Parallel twins make great commuters.
Nice work Fagan! Bloody well done….. Nice to see you doing a great job with your lads. They seem like decent kids which is a rare these days. 👍🏻👍🏻
Massively solid job mate! Well done!
Brilliant to see the lads as well. 10/10
Great video. I'm a huge fan of the 890 platform and I adore the kids!
Awesome job and great video!! So awesome to see your family there with you enjoying it and sharing that experience. I gotta say though as a Triumph Street Triple R 765 owner it gave me a nice grin to see them way up ahead.
Big hey, from the USA, beautiful! Great job mate!
Loved it big time, what's not to like?
Cudos, and looking forward to more, same format 👍👍👍
Great job done 👍👍👍 makes me want to have another go ! Been 15 years + since I last raced on circuits and I still miss it !
Al, relaxed, on top form. Lads too. Quality!
wholesome feel-good weekend racing with the boys, thanks AI

Class mate, you’ve bred your own race team/mechanics 😄
Ktm does make some serious weapons.. congrats on the 3rd!
These videos are awesome. Really inspirational to get out there and race
These "race" videos are so cool. Hope to see more from you and also from Chris.
Bloody excellent effort again Al from you and your top pit crew😎
Nice pit crew! Power Commander 5 with an EDR performance map will solve that issue with the 600s! I found dropping one tooth on the front and adding one in the back helped get some pull back when going to a larger rear tire (180/60 Pirelli SC3).
Always love the commentary with the race vids. Was exciting to watch.
Yeeesss me !!! I'm luke.😂 Great vid Al... was great to have royalty around..
The class will grow... hopefully get ya back next year with more numbers👍
Yes mate 🤝🏼
Nice You had some great flow on the 890 R. Good Times !
Love this kind of content! I appreciate it’s harder to produce logistically but I’d love to see more of it in the future
Love this format of commentary and video.
That looked so much FUN! Wish I was in the UK, I would gladly come up with my 765RS and give it a spin!
That was a great weekend's racing, i do love a bit of club action.
AAAAHHHH I MISS MOTORCYCLES.... been so out of riding the past year..... that KTM is dope AF.

Really nice and objective onboard commentary, nicely represents club racing

That KTMs twin is a peach, great torque and horsepower and sips fuel.

Love my 890R , will be getting on Brands for my 1st time next season 👌
Enjoy
The 890R is one of the most easy fun bikes I've had on a track.
love my 890r absolute power to weight weapon!!
Brilliant content. Mad how fast those zx-6r's are.
shes brilliant! my 6 year old has only ridden herself 4 times and she's very impressed
great work mate. loving the wide array of content!
