Food safety requirements across commodities/food items are not the same, so food safety consultants need to have expertise in areas relevant to your needs. Dr. Betsy Bihn is leading a team developing a certificate program for fresh produce consultants, so that farm and packinghouse operators can be confident that the consultants they hire have the necessary knowledge to provide accurate and useful guidance.
