This Little Town in Laos Surprised Us| Exploring Vang Vieng (ULTIMATE adventure experiences) 2024🇱🇦

- In this week’s vlog, we explore the best things to do in Vang Vieng: the adventure capital of Laos.
We reached the little town of Vang Vieng from the Laos capital city of Vientiane by a minivan. Vang Vieng is known as a backpackers’ paradise in Southeast Asia. It is also commonly visited by couples as well as families as a cheap holiday destination in Laos.
We spent our first day exploring the untouched countryside, as well as hiking our way up to the Nam Xay Viewpoint. We then stop for lunch at a very local Lao restaurant where we try some traditional Laos food.We also catch a glimpse of the various adventure activities in Vang Vieng such as kayaking, paragliding and a ride in a hot air balloon.
In the evening, we rode our motorbike to a Sunset Point near Vang Vieng town where we taught some curious kids how to fly the drone as well as watch an amazing sunset! We then spend the rest of the evening enjoying the nightlife and party lifestyle Vang Vieng town has to offer.
Our final day consists of going on a tubing adventure down the Nam Son River. On the whole, the beauty and untouched nature of Vang Vieng’s countryside really surprised us, and the thrilling adventures showed why it is considered one of the top adventure destinations in Southeast Asia in 2024.

Hello. We were in Laos from the last week of November to the end of December. We were in Vang Vieng middle of December and the weather was lovely. It also was not too busy during that time which was great. 😄
So I'm assuming no crocodiles?
