    Amazing Video From Laos!
    I feel really lucky now to view this footage you have shot on location in Laos. I felt about the same when I was there. But sometimes it was raining. Some kind of "Monsoon Rain" coming and going on all sorts of days. Days where I also slept a lot in the jungle. Quite an experience to be sure! And I was really amazed by the footage you have captured here. It was something with the river side to it. The "fun cows", the greenery and the high mountains surrounding it all!
    I think you came to paradise!
    Got a sense, which you already have said in this video, that the people were amazing. I experienced it to some extent when I was out there. But I just had my English and I sometimes traveled by myself so my contacts with locals were limited. I met a young boy though one day in Laos (This was in Luang Prabang) that showed me the way to an available room for someone like me to rest!
    I mean the rain was truly pouring down that night!
    It felt like *a relief* - that one had the chance to experience something *truly unique* - *the drama* added to that!
    Have to say it again: What I really loved about this video was the sense-experience of the Laos landscape. I think it was even more beautiful to the north-east of Luang Prabang where you were traveling than in Luang Prabang where I was roaming around.
    The images had a unique "South Asian Vibe" to them!
    On the surface life is just moving along here in this corner of Laos but life has a *feeling* to it. Like if local people are pretty much content, they are doing all kind of crafts there in the village. The kids seems happy and the dogs are doing fine. There has to be something we "westerners" have to learn about life in general I think: To not get stressed, to do things in a personal way, to be content with a simple life that also has many joys.
    This was how I experienced it!
    Great video!
    If you feel like it check out the travel section on my homepage "Continuation" where I have posted a wide range of articles concerning many topics coming up as I explored South East Asia (and later other places) some years ago.

    I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but only as helpful criticism. If you describe how it feels in emotional ways, it conveys much more than just making statements. Your viewership numbers will increase once you understand the importance of this.

    • @SammyandTommy
      @SammyandTommy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Tom 👋 I always encourage helpful criticism so thank you! We need more of this to improve! Can you give me an example from this video! I would appreciate it! Thank you!

    • @readingwithgrandpa830
      @readingwithgrandpa830 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SammyandTommy sure, you are doing good with explain/stating what you are or are about to do. What is missing is any experience of how your feeling, excited, worried, fearful, amazed, etc., etc., and why your feeling this way. I'm sure you view other TH-cam, so a good example would be some of Paddy Doyle or the couple who just left Thailand for the Philippines, Shev & Dev. You can see and hear how they are feeling about what they are experiencing. Don't be shy about doing this as it will come more naturally rather than feeling forced and practiced. It's okay o make mistakes....a couple who enjoy themselves and even show their mistakes a the end of their videos are Flora & Note. You'll get their when you appear more relaxed and show the emotions of the experience. Best of luck.
