- I've always been fascinated by the Coppermill stream. Not only is it one of the most picturesque venues I've ever fished, It's also one of the most exciting places to catch carp from. Throughout this campaign I worked my way through some of the stunning carp that resided in the river, with the aim to finally catch the big mirror. #carpfishing #angling #fishing

What a fisherman , real urban fisher , bounces round London with all his gear on public transport !! No one does it better not even close! Then he turns up n catches monsters , real understanding of carp , fishing and nature. What a guy xx
Thanks a lot mate, appreciate the kind words👊🏻
Coppermill great venue! Very weedy so no need to react to a bite instantly
@@khamzatchimaev3505 It’s actually not very weedy. It’s full of Lily pads and eel grass. So it’s important to hit the rod as fast as possible to avoid the carp charging it’s way through👊🏻
@khamzatchimaev3505 why would you not hit your rod ASAP when your fishing a weedy venue? As Jacob stated you want too hit it quickly too get it away from the weed before it goes ploughing through it all. Just my opinion mate
Most carp anglers I know, rock up, week in week out at their syndicate, power barrow round to their spots, spomb, rods out, then social and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that BUT this style of fishing just appeals to me so much more! Reminds me of growing up, getting the bus in to town with all my gear, to fish the park lake or the river or balancing all my gear on me mums shopping bike, seat box balanced in the basket at the front and the rest hanging off me from every direction, falling off a dozen times before I got there. What great memories...
When I lived in Walthamstow ….. before I became a carp angler I fished that stream for barble ….and the res ‘s for bream !!!🎣🎣
Used to fish Coppermill and river lee back waters in the 70s . A little paradise in the city great days no one i knew fished for carp back then .
Amazing! And a boyfriend who cooks you amazing food! Lucky man.
Great film , nice simmo common at the end caught by that old boy, with a match net too!
you are kind of person..i call real Carpangler! Great stuff mate!
Fish are still trapped in there. Mite as well be a lake
This makes no sense fish are trapped anywhere even in rivers @@crazy-qo8pz

Isn’t that steptoe with the match net
Use to be epic perch in that stream spent so many days fishing there during the late 90s. I cant believe how much its changed from looking at this video.
Nice. Just the sort of carp fishing I like. Opportunist. Active.
Great memories of fishing The Stream early 80’s, my first barbel, carp and escapee trout from one of the reservoirs. 🙂
Great video. Tight lines 🎣
Not quite the breathtaking scenery of the last few vids but cracking fishing all the same..ps,that Bolognese looked awesome!!🤤👍
Beautiful mix of events.
Interesting place to fish.
Love summer rain
The reason they feed up current is they have more control over what they choose to eat....
Jacob your video's are that good that they shouldn't come with a notification they should be announced with a fanfare.
Ahaha thanks mate, appreciate that👊🏻
🎉🎉More of this again again please 😂😂❤❤❤
Another absolute banging 💥💥 film mate, really well done Jacob, the filming on the fly type content interspersed with regular camera angles makes for an excellent piece.

Awsome video Jacob nice fish🎣
Proper inspirational mate! Love these videos 💙👊
Nice work as always Jacob. I love hunting my carp. My early work took me from the north west to London in the 80s where I was amazed to find some of the first urban carp in ponds on Clapham Common and in the park lake at Crystal Palace. I loved it, it kept me sane in the urban jungle as I wasn’t expecting to find carp in the big city at all. It brings back so many memories, great stuff.😊
Quality work 👏
This channel should be so big, reminded me of a fishing with Carl type of video, very well put together

Nice one Jacob
I have fished the copper mill stream in the 90's with my old man. Not a lot has changed. The carp however are looking beautiful in there now, I must say. The whole video was the boll**ks! Very well put together as in the whole story campaign, editing and audio on point as well. Cant wait for the winter return. Keep up the good work 👍
Sad to see this is the last one unless by some miracle you have a good cup run.
Kept this Pompey boy entertained, thanks duffers.

Man i just love the content, keep it going bro💥
"Whats that noise?" 😂😅
You remind me of carl and alex❤️ good stuff mate👍👍👍
fascinating beautiful.❗
I loved fishing on this stream years ago caught some lovely Perch Roach and Chubb does anyone know where all these fish went cos don’t see anything in there anymore I did hear it was something to do with a water pump somebody else said that the cormorants ate all the fish
I dought cormerants would do that mate cuz an ecosystem always finds its way of staying balanced but it is probs pollution like whats happened in almost all if not all the rivers in the uk
Quality watch mate 👌 what are u using to push your kit around on mate?
Egg white is great kidney cleaner x
Love watching your videos. What is the trolley you use?
Excellent as always!!

you are a young Terry hearn
Your 1000 like. Banging vid fella. Is the river run on a ticket or membership only?
This stream was once had some of the finest roach fishing in the country are they still there?
not knocking Jacob, but behind the lower, used to be non fenced and free game. Are the fences there for the public, or to stop fishing?
What time do they open the gates at Walthamstow ?and is there ample parking ?
Your enthusiasm scares me 😅
Fiste video seeing of this guy. love the style of fishing. HATE that i heard you say '' the lead come of allready'' . why not using lead substitutes?? use stone weights instead!
