Mark Pitchers must be one of my favorite fisherman love his sense of humor and have used some of his tricks in south African in our wild waters what a dream trip you had here stunning fish
I love catching some grass carp now and then but what I don't understand is when people say they don't fight hard. I've had grassers on the end of my line that absolutely felt like a freighttrain, thinking they were a 50 pound common but turned out to be a 30 pound grasser 😂
Just finished “ In pursuit of Carpiness 1 “.. absolutely wonderful!! Starting part 2 now. Can’t wait to dive into the channel! Keep up the good work guys.. and keep on rippin the bigs!!
Awesome watch Mark epic captures my biggest carp 46lb 6oz mirror jureasica 2. France onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊 😎
I've had the pleasure of fishing with Kristof, his wife Marina and Emir Caro for two weeks. Best two weeks I've ever had. We played cards and drank every night. Never laughed so hard. They were the best company and such nice people.
@fox_international They sure are. Awesome episode by the way. Very enjoyable. I live in Australia (from UK) so it's a very long trip every time I come back every two years to fish in France. These videos keep me going.
Awesome video Mark .. well done on the fish. But .. the grassy’s are exceptional 🎉🥂👌🏻 .. Had my 3rd grass carp last week at 26lb on bread and what a creature. I can’t imagine a 20kg + grass carp 😮
I don't mind catching grass carp. My biggest comes from a gravel pit in Germany and had 21.5 kg, so about 47 pounds !!! And like you said, they are nice looking fish. They all look the same but I don't mind.
Great fishing again and great video. Why when weighing the fish in kilo’s do you then stand trying to workout it out in lb’s when you can swap it over on the scales? Just a query really, seems daft when the answer is a press of a button away
Hello from Croatia, it is allways nice to watch your videos Mark, nice to see you here in our Balkanian area, hope you will come to Croatia soon, all the best from me.... That's one way to catch carp 😂❤
That was certainly an epic trip and video👏👏. Have you or Fox ever considered Canada? There are untapped lakes with unknown quantities of wild Carp. PB’s caught 34lb 2oz Common and a rarity in Canada a Beautiful Mirror of 26lb 6oz.
@@fox_international There's nothing wrong with Bream, I spent ages trying for a double and the best I could do was 9-14 then whilst carping on my local cut I caught a 10-2 on a double 16mm. Such is the luck of fishing.
Awesome video as always. I'm a bit of a beginner so might be a stupid question but how come you're using mono mainline and not braid? It looked like you were anyway. I guess its more invisible in the water?
There were just five of us fishing the lake, and you have to remember this is not a U.K day ticket water, it's a big fish venue and most anglers fishing these waters would have a bit more angling etiquette than to set up directly opposite another angler which would compromise each other's chances.
A lot of carpers will use braid but this wasn’t mega range, also he wasn’t casting either. I agree though it would’ve provided some benefits like better indication.
@MarkPitchers I'm a Pike angler so I don't get that, why would braid be banned? OK from working with fishery owners they can be odd sometimes and have some weird rules, like the carp match pond I used to fish the fella didn't allow tins of hemp or sweetcorn on his fishery so you had to put them in bait boxes before going he literally banned folk for turning up with a can of sweetcorn.
I understand, German missus has turned you as well 😉 haha. Just gets a bit all over the place when you’re weighing in kilos, guessing out loud the weight in pounds and then referring back to the fish later as the 53lb’er etc. Great video, I was in Bosnia last year such a stunning country!
Please, all of you. STOP making films that benefit you and your firms alone. I'm having to move further and further a field to fish without the crowds and ya just keep ruining things to sell stuff. I get the whole making content thing but you're not doing it on waters exclusive to yourselves. I've moved off lakes in the UK that have been ruined, then had to move off in western Europe and now Eastern Europe is visibly getting worse month by month.
Films like this should benefit many anglers with the tactics shown that worked so well and an in depth discussion with one of the worlds most successful big fish anglers. Many will learn from this and perhaps put it into action on their next session or holiday trip. We don’t have venues exclusive to Fox so most of the time we like to make films at places anyone could go to. What videos do you think we should make?
@@fox_international It was a good piece of work. They generally always are and that is why they're popular. I'm not being bitter but most of your own sponsored anglers would choose a more secluded side to their angling, some have even said this to me personally. This is why they choose the best syndicates, and have access to a lot of lakes others wouldn't......and they bloody well deserve it being who they are. I'd rather see films on these sort of lakes, but that's me. Day tickets like you have made but be mindful of filming using drones etc. Again, another thing I have witnessed whilst a very well known angler getting 'that shot' with fish in other people's swims. I'd ask to stop sprawling across europe, they make good films but bring too many people with them with what is already competitive. It's annoying for the people that have spent countless hours researching the waters or just driving about having a punt. The film crew turns up and says straight away "we're fishing here".....another lake blown. I'm just asking to be considerate please.
Junk fish that could potentially earn untold millions for the US recreational fishing industry if you guys took them seriously. Coarse fishing in the uk is worth 1.4 billion pounds and a majority of that is due to Carp angling. For such a small country to earn that much out of it what do you think it would be worth to the US economy given the enormous untapped potential of your mid western lakes?

The name calling towards the grass carp had me in stitches 😂😂😂

No idea why carp anglers aren't keen on Grass Carp. They are absolutely beautiful fish 😍

Love a grassy, but then again I'm weird apparently, cos I love a slab of a bream too 😅 , angler at heart ❤️
Great watch M P. 👌

I would not be disappointed with that grass carp, what a beast!
What a fantastic session with some absolute beauties there , never caught a grassy but would love to I think they are an awesome fish
They are an amazing looking creature 🐋
Awesome vid, i thoroughly enjoyed it! Why fish mono, instead or braid? Is this for line sinking with the boat or water rules?
Went river fishing on the river sava in bosnia. Definetly worth the fishing tripm alot of action.
Awesome video as always. I'm a bit of a beginner so might be a stupid question but how come you're using mono mainline and not braid? It looked like you were anyway. I guess its more invisible in the water?
Well done Mark, stay crazy and carpy :D

Deadline day has been and gone 😂 but Mark is Fox through & through 👌🏻
So lucky no one wanted those pegs on the other side you’re fishing…
Prob booked the whole lake
It's almost like a company was making a video and ensured the venue would allow for making that video....
There were just five of us fishing the lake, and you have to remember this is not a U.K day ticket water, it's a big fish venue and most anglers fishing these waters would have a bit more angling etiquette than to set up directly opposite another angler which would compromise each other's chances.

16 hours and 4 countries. I can drive 16 hours and only be in the next state.
CRAZYY 🤯
Luxembourg is a truly epic country!
When I fish at range its Braid mainline all the way I don't know why you carp guys don't like braided mainline.
A lot of carpers will use braid but this wasn’t mega range, also he wasn’t casting either. I agree though it would’ve provided some benefits like better indication.
Braided mainline is not allowed at the venue.
@MarkPitchers I'm a Pike angler so I don't get that, why would braid be banned?

Rather catch grass carp like that than a cat lol
Why read the weights out kilos, only to have to switch to lbs anyway?! Nobody wants that..😂 stick to lbs and let the euros work out their KGs.
The more I have started fishing overseas the more I have started working in kilos.
I understand, German missus has turned you as well 😉 haha. Just gets a bit all over the place when you’re weighing in kilos, guessing out loud the weight in pounds and then referring back to the fish later as the 53lb’er etc.
Great video, I was in Bosnia last year such a stunning country!
Just weigh em in lbs. Jesus. 😮
Not a fan of grass carp as there not carp 😂😂😂
Kilos 😂

Fucking sound track? Why? It’s not needed. Fishing is a quiet sport. You’ll be shouting “Fish On” next!
1300 miles for carp lmao! Such a junk fish around here, can bow fish and fill a pickup truck daily.
