  • This is a video of our weekend trip to the Bluff, Utah area. We visited the Alcove Ruins on Comb Ridge, Goosenecks State Park, Newspaper Rock Petroglyphs, a peak called The Horn and Sand Island Petroglyphs.
The ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings (Anasazi) we visited have existed for over 800 years. Also found some pottery shards and Moki Steps at the ruins.
Newspaper Rock is an amazing petroglyph panel closer to Monticello.

Do not damage the ruins & other sightings! Respect the past dwellings 👀

Are you sure that you are on BLM ,and not the reservation jurisdiction?. That requires permission from the tribe, I have been led to believe.

100% sure I was on BLM land. There are several trailheads and even bathrooms along the road.
