Very cool website under utilized by me. Until this video I was unaware that there were 50 well err summits between me and Farrell Hill the undisputed monarch of Ohio west of the Scioto and south of I -70.

Ok, a few things. Great video. I look forward to a future 14er hike with Carrie carrying a chicken the whole way. Lastly, had you thrown a rock into that lake in front of the guy with a camera it would have been a huge jerk move but I’d have laughed pretty hard!!

My grandparents lived within sight of Lone Cone their entire time in Colorado. I can still see my grandfather early in the morning with his coffee and looking out the window at the mountain deep in thought.

A couple of questions for you. What time of the year did you make this climb? Looks like it's not later than mid-July given the amount of snow still present? Second question. Why do you cut across the base of the mountain instead of just going up the northeast ridge which is more direct? We hope to be out there this summer. Thanks!

You folks are climbing up Butler Wash to get up to Comb Ridge. Next time you may want to explore the other side of Comb Ridge from the Comb Wash side of things. There are steps in the sandstone and other cool things.

Are you sure that you are on BLM ,and not the reservation jurisdiction?. That requires permission from the tribe, I have been led to believe.
