She refers to them as Arabs because they are Arabs. From thier accent they are Lebanese, and that's for Sure. However, if you are confused why they follow western values that's because they are Christians and probably grow up in the US. Lebanon has a significant Christian population. They could also be non practicing shea mhslims.
