Mahjong or Mah jongg is the Chinese tile game that requires critical thinking and social acuity. For American mah jongg, Charleston Modeling is not exactly like playing in a live game but it’s good practice with decision making as you learn how to play mah jongg! Remember, if you receive jokers in an incoming pass, you need to exchange it for a random tile on the table - passing jokers is against the NMJL rules.

Great video. Please do identify more clearly the hands you are considering. When you say “third hand down” or “little odds with dragons” I’m able to follow your thought much better. When you’re flying through I can’t follow. Thanks!

Pull 1. I would have disregarded the 3,4 3,4 hand and stuck with the 3,6,9, hand. The 4s were both kongs and would have needed too much luck to get that done, especially with no jokers.
