In paint diagram, Regulus pocket sand needed to be a cone. Like a shotgun blast that spreads out the farther it goes out but is more condensed the closer you are to the emit point. Fortuna and Petelgeuse ducked under the cone while being close enough to the emit point, but past them where the cone got wider the ground got shredded to all hell. It was these holes that were described as being bottomless or penetrating the world itself.

The Scripture of Intelligence. I wonder if Regulus got mad because Pandora used her authority to calm down him down, or simply because he got interrupted.
I feel like that's one of the keys to figure out her powers and limitations, she doesn't interfere with persons memories/personality/emotions (well, directly with her witch powers that is), She said calm down but Regulus didn't calm down, she really likes people acting out their emotions and its content for her, she said Regulus is not here, but while that overwritten the damage hes done including Geuses arm, it didn't overwrite Fortunas and Geuses recent experiences, she also selectively chooses what gets to be overwritten so exact wording isnt an issue, but it also might be that she's not capable of influencing minds (again with her authority, but she can use other magic instead as we see next episode)
