    Nice fix on that clutch pedal. It boggles the mind how much you have to do to make these reproduction parts fit for what they cost. Great video.👍

      Thanks! You just have to think your way around things… A skill you’ve picked up fast on your build. You’re off to a great start 👍

    Doing the same conversation to my RS! Nice to see it first

      Thanks. Using OER? Curious if the clutch pedal is the same with that corner weld or mine was a glitch.

      @@ParadiseBayCustoms The short answer is Yes I have OER and Yes it's the same tiny weld on the clutch pedal. The brake pedal has a "beefier" attachment. I'll send pics if you want to your email

    Thanks for the acknowledgment. I’ll have to give credit to Mark Stielow for the idea. That’s how he sets up his pedal assemblies. He transfers 4th gen Camaro geometry to the 1st gen assembly but the basics are the same.
    It’s a lot easier than laying on your back in the floor board trying to eyeball the push rod alignment.

    Looking good. I have the same pedal assembly. I'll take a look at the clutch pedal attachment and let you know if it needs reinforcing.

    I am going to have to inspect my clutch pedal to see how well it’s welded

      LOL. I’d be curious to know. Seemed odd. I didn’t notice mine at first.

    Looks good, I wonder why it was like a small weld on the pedal.

    • @ParadiseBayCustoms
      @ParadiseBayCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. I learned today that’s the way GM did it originally, albeit with a bit more weld on the corner of the arm. Go figure - kinda nonsensical! 😵‍💫

    Like most things Chinese....... you have to finish making it or modify it to work. Just seems crazy to me. What about the poor slob that doesn't have tools or skills to do these. He is just hosed. No wonder so few younger guys want to deal with this nonsense. Nice repair work and looks great.

    It’s sad when we have to modify new foreign parts to make them usable, also that 50 year old brake light switch is probably better than a new over seas low quality replacement
