I carefully reviewed the manual (Traditional Chinese version) and discovered that it mentions the button at 4:20 is for "Revealing current settings status", and for the one at 10:31, it clearly states, "Although there is a button, this product does not have this function, so it cannot be operated" (my unit is Washlet S7).

Afaict, the settings button displays all of the lights to show you the current settings for all the button
