I've decided to start a new coin roll hunting series to see how many bank boxes it takes to fill an entire Dansco Album for Nickels dated 1938-1999. There are 138 slots to fill and although I already have an entire nickel coin collection, I did not keep track of the number of boxes it took to complete the set, which I completed through coin roll hunting. This is part 4 of the new series and I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the coin collection is completed! It may be a little tougher due to the coin shortage from the Federal Reserve, but we will give it a go! Nickel Hunt and Fill Video Playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLknd43YfQfvatkKslmfwphJRQ5OBXb5Rz.html FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage. Let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some valuable Nickels! Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! I started watching your videos after finding silver coins at my job over a 2 week period. I ended up with 20 quarters 3 silver dollars and 3 nickels short of 4 rolls of silver war nickels. This series has made me realize how lucky I must have gotten to find them.
Really enjoying this series of nickel hunts for the Dansco Album. 4 down and ??? to go! If you average 5 nickels per box for the completion you’d be doing outstanding. Gotta snag those War dates next box! You can’t get mad at that!
You’ve opened a can of worms here with this hunt and fill there’s no way we will just be satisfied with nickels 😂😂😂 like number 270 thx for everything you do for us rob👊🏻 see you on the next one👍🏻
Hey Rob just recently (about a month) got into coin collecting after I got a pretty beat up 1907 indian head penny through tips at my job.. love the video I've been binge watching.. and i joined in on a few streams and its awesome to see how far you have come from the beginning.. have a great day 😀
I'm only able to get 2 rolls each denomination per day at my bank. Today, I only bought one dime roll along with 2 each in pennies, nickels and quarters. Wouldn't you know it? I found a 1962-D dime! I want my boxes back!!!
Love this series Rob! I recently got my neighbors old Buffalo collection from when he was a kid along with his Mercury collection! 4.40$ face value on the mercs, and the buffalos were legible dates from first minting onwards! Any junk silver sorts soon? Those are my favorite!
I'm loving this series of videos and I'm really hoping you do it with the other denominations as well. The penny hunt would be the coolest of all. I was thinking about the Roosevelt dime and that one could be done fairly quickly, the post 1964 would be quick and easy obviously and the 1946 to 1964 could also be fairly easy if you filled those on a junk silver purchase!! What do you think Rob?? Have a GREAT Day My Friend!!!
@RobFindsTreasure Whitman makes a really nice national park folder I didn’t think I would like doing it cause I’m not as into modern clad coins but I do love the designs highly recommend maybe another series filler 🧐
In a box of nickels I usually find about two rolls worth of 1964 nickels. You gotta get a better one than the one you saved. I occasionally find one in near MS condition that I save, but I'm not very excited about it since they are so common.
hey Rob just had a quick question to ask you. I was recently at my local coin shop and Saw a 1913 P type 2 buffalo nickel so I picked it up for 50 cents. Was just wondering if that was a good buy? Thanks
I live in Minnesota. I go to my local TCF Bank and ask if they have any new 2020 Quarters. They say no, we have a coin shortage. How were you able to get a whole box of Nickels Rob?
Tell them they are full of crap. I'm not able to get boxes like I used to in TN, but I can get 2 rolls each denomination. The coin shortage, to me, is political BS. Oh, and if I save up enough to re-roll into a box, I can exchange the entire box for a sealed one. It's a bit tough trying to get 50 rolls together of any denomination, but it is doable.
@@everythingcollectibles I'm sorry that is happening to you up there. It's a shame really. Maybe if you have extra cash around to use, maybe you can put an ad in the paper or Craigslist to offer to buy peoples loose change? I had thought about it.

This is really fun, I like seeing you fill the book. It is a fun element I don't usually see on coin-hunting.
Hey Rob I have like 8 slick buffalos and I was wondering if you could nick a date them for me? You could keep for and I keep 4.?
This should be a 20 part series
Might be!
RobFindsTreasure Yeah I been enjoying this
It should be a 100 part series
I agree, after you are done with this series Rob, you should do one with clad quarters or pennies!
Yeah right
I started watching your videos after finding silver coins at my job over a 2 week period. I ended up with 20 quarters 3 silver dollars and 3 nickels short of 4 rolls of silver war nickels. This series has made me realize how lucky I must have gotten to find them.
Keep the finds coming and fill in the blanks. Good luck Rob. Can't wait to see how many boxes it takes...
Great video! I love the coin filling albums!!
Looked like an S on that Buffalo to me, at least before the nick-a-date.
I'm really enjoying this series! I hope you keep filling the book.
Good luck to everyone! Thanks Rob!
Great series of nickel hunts. Keep up the great work! Very enjoyable and relatable to the average collector.
Absolutely love this series Rob👍
Really enjoy these nickel hunts.

Thanks for another video. I enjoy this series.
A few more for the book, great vid rob
Great hunt, almost all filled up!
Love this series! I wish I had filmed my hunts from when I was filling my folders! It is always fun when you find another coin for your folder!
Hey Rob just recently (about a month) got into coin collecting after I got a pretty beat up 1907 indian head penny through tips at my job.. love the video I've been binge watching.. and i joined in on a few streams and its awesome to see how far you have come from the beginning.. have a great day 😀
the gaymer I remember you from some streams
That's quite a find! I've never found an IHP in circulation, you got quite the lucky find!
I'm only able to get 2 rolls each denomination per day at my bank. Today, I only bought one dime roll along with 2 each in pennies, nickels and quarters. Wouldn't you know it? I found a 1962-D dime! I want my boxes back!!!
@4:10 you pulled a 1939 and I believe it had doubling on the “T” and the “I” in Montecello
There’s no eye on Monte’s cello lol
relic holic Monticello* there is an “I” in Monticello
Yes there is forgive me I was just being a smartaleck. You had misspelled it with an e
I totally enjoy watching your coin roll hunt
Sweet, nice box to fill some slots
Love this series Rob!!! Thank you!
Nice progression in the album.
Hi RobFinds Tresaure nice nickle album
Today I searched one of my friends baggies of random coins and found a 1942 P war nickel in there.
Bought it off him for cheap.
Very pleased
Amazing Rob I was wondering if you were going to do this with pennies
Just had surgery on my foot your vids give me something to do while I’m recovering
Hope your recovery goes well!

ItsMull3n he did one a few days ago but he said another is coming soon
nice finds rob

Second Boom! 💥
At that rate you'll FTB (fill the book) in six boxes😂. Good luck 👍🤞🍀
Two boxes in a row with buffalo!
Gotta love finding a semi key date
4:08 and pause it because it looks like DDR on the C
Cupcakes for Rob tonight lol
Nice i love this series
Great hunt
your next series should be hunting foreign coin boxes !
He's done a few boxes from Canada before!
At 4:30 I am pretty sure I see a D mintmark on the 1942.
I don't know Rob.........that 42 P looked like a D to me. Doesn't matter though, almost anything with a legible date and mint mark will be an upgrade.
I've never seen a dansco album like that. Where you did you acquire itvat.
I believe it's from the 1970's
The s mint ones are always the harder ones to find
Great content
I’m new to the channel and I just want rob to see a 1959 D and think it’s a 1939 D
one for all and all for one is a superhero and supervillen from an anime
wassup rob!!! lets goooo!!!!
What did you do to the buffalo to see the date more clearly?
So fun
I puased @buffalo.. Thought i seen a "D" & a "5"
Hey Rob I don't suppose the company's that you buy these albums from happen to sell ones for Modern UK coins as well do they?
Lincoln cents or half dollars album fill series after this? I like this video series.
I got ask ?? Where did you get that type album?? Would love to have one thanks
Does nic-a date decrease the value much?
First let’s go!!
YES!!!! BOOM! 💥
💥
...funny how obsessions sneak upon you, huh?
this never ends loool
Out of curiosity, are you going to do anything special with the album if and when it is full?
I’m hoping he does a gaw 😬
A question you most likely got before, but what do you do go up to a teller and say here is $100 for a box of nickels?
I found an ‘43 S war nickel and it’s in my album
hey Rob just had a quick question to ask you. I was recently at my local coin shop and Saw a 1913 P type 2 buffalo nickel so I picked it up for 50 cents. Was just wondering if that was a good buy? Thanks
Isn’t it technically a bison on the “buffalo nickels”? The buffalo/bison conundrum always confuses me
Actually it is a buffalo, but they did change it to a bison for the 2005 commemorative
Congratulations on finding a Buffalo nickel.
😂 at the 3Amigos.
Hey i was wondering is a 2020 fruit bat quarter worth anything with a eye missing
I'm not sure, you could try to join the Facebook group Canadian coins and paper money ask, answer, show, someone there should be able to tell you
can you do this for all demoninations
Oh I’m early!
I live in Minnesota. I go to my local TCF Bank and ask if they have any new 2020 Quarters. They say no, we have a coin shortage. How were you able to get a whole box of Nickels Rob?

Mike Wochele I was just asking for single coins that they would have in their side change counters too
@@everythingcollectibles I'm sorry that is happening to you up there. It's a shame really.
Maybe if you have extra cash around to use, maybe you can put an ad in the paper or Craigslist to offer to buy peoples loose change? I had thought about it.
That awful 1942 looked like a 42-D to me.
This must continue until all slots are filled. 😬
Since your book starts with a reverse side why don’t you end it with a reverse side for that one spot
Fifth
Could you do a full collection tour?
Yes! Please do that, because it's a great idea for a video!
Yoooo
I think it was a 1942 d nickel
Banana bread
I'm back some family passing but I'm back
Sorry to hear that Vinny. My thoughts are with you and your loved ones my friend.
@@RobFindsTreasure thanks
Hi I found a silver nickel and a wheat penny ended the nickel was not an ender
I wonder how much weight in coins you've handled since starting the videos and stream Rob
42
