The Land of Goshen was awarded and the Title of the land was given freely over to Sarah when she was known still as Sari, and Pharaoh gave it to her when he was told Sari was Avraham's/at the time Avram's wife, and Pharaoh was plagued from H-Sh-M for trying to mess around with Sari.

19:20 I've wondered about that. Did Joseph really have no more children? Do we know that? What is the meaning of his having no children of his own -- if we really say that Jacob adopted them? Retroactively saying he was a tzadik even when he had those boys?

Good discussion. If you are open-minded on archeology, you might was to research the ancient community of Aravis on the Nile in Egypt. Their existed a large "Cananite" compound that fits Yosepf. An interesting interpretation comes from David Rohl. His indings interesting.

Doesn’t Daniel fill in more details about the “end-of days”? Was not he told to”shut up the book until the time of the end”?

When I've read the section with the blessing of the sons, I took it to mean that the blessings themselves were the prophecy. Not a juicy apocalyptic story, but information you have to pluck out from the blessings. So maybe that was a little true, but now I learned the actual prophecy wasn't given. I'm kind of glad that it might be more than that.

Could it be that Joseph’s sons were a repeat of Jacob and Esau in the birth canal?

@13:10 Such a shame. Yosef should have had his brothers have their vows absolved, Yaakov would have had the brothers make a complete teshuvah and the weight of guilt would have been lifted, then they could all openly interact on a higher level.

At 45 minutes. If Joseph didn't spend time with Jacob, he wouldn't have seen his brothers. Is this not why he got the lies from the brothers? They may have believed he wasn't seeing them because of the earlier deed?

Even IF someone had been eaten, where is the body? 🤷🏻‍♀️ wouldn’t that be a question of that day? I mean if my child were eaten I’d want the body to bury it. That would certainly cause me to wonder especially if they could recover his garment

Id like to know WHY Joseph is not named as a Tribe?
    The TORAH doesnt state why.
Was Yaakov's acceptance of Joseph's 2 sons (Manasseh = 1/2 Tribe due to Jewish and Egyptian parentage, and Efrahim = 1/2 Tribe (same reasoning) equal 1Tribe?
But WHY wasnt Joseph their Father, mentioned as a Tribe. Joseph IS one of the 11 sons of Yaakov?

Refer to Tim Mahoney's "Exodus" -- they discovered what likely was Joseph's house and tombs for his brothers in Joseph's back yard.

@7:57 Yosef didn't have his father Yaakov living in the palace, but Michelle Obama had her mother live in the White House, when Barak became president.😂

You have forgotten two things, my friend. First of all, Israel IS specifically mentioned on the Merneptah Stele, also known as the Israel Stele, which dates to around 1207 BCE and directly references "Israel" in the context of a people. The stele, commissioned by Pharaoh Merneptah, a son of Rameses was discovered in Thebes, Egypt and now housed in the Cairo Museum---names Israel, in hieroglyphs on the stele. However, Israel is named as a people living in the land of Canaan. Secondly, earlier records of the Israelites do not refer to them by that name because, prior to the Exodus, they were considered Egyptian citizens of the slave class and not yet a separate nation. Many ancient writers mention the Israelites in the context of their slave experience. The most famous is Manetho, an Egyptian priest who lived during the 3rd Century BCE. He obviously hated the Israelites, even calling them lepers who revolted against Egypt. Others in antiquity who mention the Hebrew slaves in Egypt are Herodotus (5th Century BCE). In his account he calls them, "sacred lepers". Then there is Hecataeus of Abdera (4th Century BCE) who writes about the Jews in Egypt and their mass Exodus. Speaking of the Exodus, at a 2013 symposium at the University of California at San Diego, 42 leading scholars in archaeology and Egyptology, offered evidence from over 90 ancient Egyptian sources (tomb inscriptions, papyrus, etc) of the Ten Plagues and the Exodus narrative (including the drowning of Egypt's army in the sea). Maybe you should watch our documentary The Riddle of the Exodus and get the whole story: th-cam.com/video/ZGiX9Ekmhgo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Usl8_TNbcZ3I-Cej
