Kinda makes you appreciate PR Lost Galaxy choosing to kill off its Pink Ranger, when you realize how much that show avoids killing the heroes, despite the violence in the show. I know it was because the actor had leukemia, but they could have done a number of things to write the character off, and instead they chose a heroic sacrifice.
one of the reasons why I love Super Sentai, it is so much more darker and more realistic, when fighting to save the world or protecting the ones they love, there will come the time when one of the good guys will sacrifice their lives to protect the ones they love and the world, unselfishly and without hesitation.

Even if your a Power Rangers fan, give Sentai this, they actually had the guts to kill their main characters off. The only times I can think of when Power Rangers killed a ranger off was Kendrix in Lost Galaxy and Roboknight from Megaforce. Though Kendrix was revived at the end. Though I do suppose if we're counting all heroes, they did kill Zordon off too.

I do remember they did kill Alex in Time Force. He did come back due to the altering of the past, but still. They also killed Kendrick in Lost Galaxy and she didn’t even die in the Sentai. The actress had undergo treatment for leukemia so she left the show but they did revive the character in the last episode, but still it was the first time a Power Ranger died.

Considering they adapt Sentai to become Power Rangers, you know, to an American audience with parents raised to think every time death is involved, it's not right, you can understand why they'd take out shit like that.
That's not to say Power Rangers got dark, we have had deaths in the show from time to time. Lost Galaxy had its Pink die, the first Magna Defender, kept the Gao Ranger deaths, even though they were revived later on. Don't forget Zordon, who had sacrificed himself during In Space.
Needless to say, behind the goof and the bright colors, Sentai aims to tell stories and teach kids about the importance of death and how it's not necessarily the end. Power Rangers can be said to do the same thing, just on a lesser scale. If we kept those deaths we wouldn't have Tommy Oliver appearing in other seasons.

I’m pitching a concept for a Zyuohger adaptation, and the penultimate episode sees the Animasters (adapted from the suits of Zyuman Bud, Larry, and Cetus), mortally wounded by Evolved Emperor Xenicon (Shin Ginis’ counterpart), then depixelating leaving only their cloaks left
I think Master Kaku was a good example of that. Even though it seemed like be betrayed the Dairangers, he still did it for the greater good and didn't truly mean them any harm. He just wanted to protect the world from the Gorma Tribe by becoming their new leader. The Dairangers were even heartbroken when he died, showing they still saw him as their master despite everything he did.

Five Red I’d just say would just become a coma, Birdman would die, Dragonranger would’ve died properly, Bull Black would’ve gone the same way, others would’ve gone the same way(skipped entirely)
Probably wouldn't have done that. Yellow Four in Bioman died because the actress abruptly quit one day and ditched production so they needed to replace her in the course of a single episode. Bioman US hopefully wouldn't have had that issue with their Yellow Ranger.
