Hi. No one else is covering trigger bots so was nice to find this video. 50% more is 1.5x damage. 100% more is 2x damage. That passive works out to 10% more area damage on average over 5 hits. The more area damage wont work with ice spear.
problem is trigger builds are difficult to run on league start without currency. thats why no one is talking about the new sabo. the sabo forums are practically deserted
Hmm wonder what happens when you trigger spawn minions with thr bots ? I am thinking holy relic saboteur with prismatic support gem with bow or cyclone. Scale it with minion damage and spell with crazy cdr and 3x explosions of prismatic and 2x holy relic. If i can somehow add battlemage....madness.
I'm doing glacial cascade...with the way the bots stay back...should be almost always hitting the 100% more damage in the last circle if you are doing cyclone.
I hope they work with spellslinger, will test lightpoacher spellslinger wombo combo. If not then mjölnir wave of lightning + cwc firestorm explosive expert. Usually my builds fail me in red maps but it is fun to try new stuff.

ok so some ideas I had while obsessing over this in POB for the past few days 1. poison exsang/eow cwc (or COC with perfect agony), applying 2x poisons is strong and you can grab something from assassin with jewels. biggest issue is you only have 3 ascendancy notables that are actually good, since neither exsang nor eow are aoe spells. not a league starter ofc 2. (my potential leaguestart) spellslinger vd. my hope is that the triggerbots make spell cascade not mandatory on VD and we get an extra damage support gem. only issue is spellslinger reserving mana, but mastery changes made that suck a bit less IMO 3. good ol' bow coc VD, which i'm totally looking fowards to upgrading my sabo to if I can get the gear in SSF also, I don't think cyclone coc will be as good with triggerbots, since you'll still have to be in melee range, but cyclone CWC or bow COC are insane with how more flexible your positioning will be with them. If I were to do cyclone COC I'd probably do assassin and get "like clockwork" with forbidden jewels
I've been thinking about triggerbots ever since they dropped it, especially with the cdr recovery. What if you can run a Mjolnir build? How about some kind of shenanigan CwC Volatile Dead/Detonate Dead? How about the new Prismatic Burst gem, which is a trigger support spell. How about a possible ward loop Saboteur that will melt any GPU with the sheer amount of spells on screen. I've been loving triggers for years and am excited for this!
there is a new crucible weapon passive that says: +4% to Critical Strike Chance Your Critical Strikes do not deal extra Damage. i wonder if the triggered skills count as being casted by the bots and not you which means your trigger attacks (cyclone and similar triggers) will do no damage at all BUT your triggered spells will still crit because they are coming from the bots and not you. man i hope this is the case :D
6:47 I am confirming your information and math is completely wrong. Not trying to be offensive but there are guides out there that will help you understand dmg scaling in PoE.
Unfortunately, even with MAX cdr, you cannot get the new skill Prismatic Burst down to x3 a second. I wanna say it tops out at .39 trigger rate, so likely Inquisitor is better for that particular thing with battlemage. That being said though, Given you can get x4 triggers with just the gem and Sabo, the Battlemage hat might actually be viable to scale the support gem with Battlemage. Sure you cant crit anymore but that base damage is juicy enough with the 280% dmg effectiveness I think it would scale enough to be a decent mapper. Not to mention the perks of everything you have being on a 30% less cd, or more with a some cd boots. EDIT: even with hyperboreus you get down to .35 cd, sooo close. Im not sure if there are other sources of CDR available though.

Math works like this iirc:
(Base dmg x increased damage) x more damage

Ward loop would actually be insane. Literally can't die cuz you don't see mobs, so they can't see you

where do u see 30% more dmg i see 35% less dmg?
Ice spear has no AOE dmg. so Bomb Specialist is useless for your build.
