Why was it replaced. Was it faulty? I adore mine but it’s not perfect. My bowl gets damaged every time I sauté. The none stick comes off. Silicone utensils. So no reason. But I do love love love it. Glad you got a spanking new one!! I looked at all the other options. Including the combi. But nothing beats this machine. Use it several times a day. Use the ninja baking set and all the racks. Thank goodness for your channel and a couple of others on here as I wouldn’t know how to start without your help. So glad you’re continuing with this machine. And must get your cookery book. Put it on my birthday list!
Hi Nicola, My lid sensor stopped working and because of my channel I convinced Ninja to replace it for me. It was intermittent to start with and then all the time started saying 'close lid' when it was closed. I agree with the pot, it is a pain. Sear/Saute is great when it's brand new but that coating doesn't seem to last. A new pot is £25 but I know ninja have replaced some peoples, I think it depends on how long you've had the appliance

My entire apartment building burnt down yesterday at 0230. I'm TRYING to think of the things that I had-that CAN be replaced-and I think I had the OG Ninja Foodi. Even their website doesn't haven't it. Is this the newest, latest and greatest version? If you want to see everything I own burn because of a ladies candle, Google 7600 Block Holliswood Court. Hi Susannah, i have recently upgraded to the 15 in 1,howevr i had to send it back, the lid closes fine when cold ,but during air frying when i went to check the food the lid wouldn't close properly, i received the new one its better but still has a gap just wondered if you or anyone have come across this issue?
In my experience there is always a visible gap when the lid is closed, I think it’s how it’s meant to be. I have also had it where the lid won’t close very well but not so that it won’t close at all. Fingers crossed for the new one
My understanding is that when you are on air fry the air is circulating fast to rapidly cook the food (which is why it’s faster than an oven). It remove the moisture in this process so gives you that crispy exterior that we like on chips, tempura chicken etc. I find Bake is the same as using your oven so more suited to cakes and things you wouldn’t want to dry out or be crispy.
I won't lie it's not like having a drawer air fryer but I tend to use a tea towel and at the side of the basket is a cut out (handle) so you can easily lift and shake. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for a machine that does so much. I think the air fryer works really well and the basket is good quality and you can make so much in it. Plus you can air fry using the rack too for layering and fitting more in
I agree with Susannah , I have a drawer air fryer and this 15 in 1 . For the drawer you can grab a handle and shake, and for the 15 in 1 you lift out the basket out the main pot to shake however it is not tricky at all. It’s very easy to get the basket out . I use tea towel as well and another way Is those long oven mits that have the two hands attached by a long bit of fabric inbetween them , they are great too as you can easily lift the basket and I kind of get the long bit underneath the basket or use the other hand pocket to hold from below I find help give a good old shaking . Other thing is if there not too much in there a good old poke around with the silicone tongs can be enough to move stuff around . It really is a fab machine

The recipe book isn’t great! It’s better than nothing when you start but I find that the quantities aren’t right in it which is annoying

Well thats typical. I hope you have sorted it out now. Just make sure the metal circle runs through the centre of the sealant you will be fine

I love the probe with mine. Just bung the meat in put in the probe press a few buttons and hey presto sorted.

They don’t last forever but I think it’s worth £24.99 and the non stick is great when you first get it.
