He said he wanted a woman who gave him " peace" at same time he brought chaos and drama and never brought peace. This why it's very important to have your own money whether married or not. Don't depend on him when you hear any woman who claims her marriage lasted 50 year or more it because she kept taking his sh*t and sweeping it under the rug instead of leaving because she was scared of what society will say. So when you hear someone tell you we've been married 30 years or more just know it's the woman carrying the burden in that marriage and taking his rubbish. Have you noticed women die earlier than men in marriage? Yup exactly
Same! First born daughter in a Jamaican family. I’ve been in therapy for the last 3 years to heal and rest. I was a mule for everyone but myself, and my now ex-boyfriend called me strong when asked what he liked the most about me. Luckily, I’ve woken up, am now single and loving on myself.
First of all, he doesn’t look THAT good lol. He’s just clean cut and put together. His posture is weak and his clothes are wearing him. I find it funny that he stumbled through everything he was looking for until he got to the hardworking part. He said that with his whole chest 😂
This video is too short, too many gems in this video. Don't wait until your daughter is of age. Tell her now in a way that she can understand. So by the time she is of age, she will already not just know buy understand what it is that you are going to say. Children understand way more than we give them credit for. Many of them are smart from birth. If you keep saying and enforcing the right thing, they will be able to pick up what you are putting down.
The proverbs 31 woman still observed the sabbath. She took a day off to rest each week. In those days, she took the days of her period off for rest. There were mandatory days off after the birth of a child. There was no such thing as go go every day for a pious woman.
Proverbs 31 is the perfect Godly wife. She isn’t doing the mens labour, she’s doing women’s work and building a business and so successful she hires men to do the work. Her husband is still doing the daily grind. She’s the support from the home.
The woman talking about wanting to prove her worth really hit home. I was exactly like that. Unfortunately, I didn't see this as me being toxic to myself for far too long. I know better, now, lessons have been learned. I AM a hard worker and good person, but tbh, I really don't enjoy spending my energy on anyone that can't/won't match my energy. I understand no one else can "be me", so I just quit dating. No more disappointment, just peace❤

We are supposed to do better by our own lives than our parents did for us. Why would you ask for something regressive when you could get an improved version of your own upbringing by recognizing the shortcomings of your youth, and making the necessary changes to facilitate a higher level of achievement?
Hardworking and lazy are triggering to me as well, especially as an individual w/ anxiety. The issue is this is part of generational trauma. I was taught to look after others and it’s apparent in the black communities.
As I have said I really think that if you live with a man he can't help himself, he will always look for ways to taje advantage and to siphon your energy through labor, smegs, etc.
I am so glad us women of this generation are waking up!! The lady with the curly hair in white attire was spot on. They said they wanted hardworking women so we started getting degrees and climbing ladders to get our own bag while also finding our own self worth. Now we want them to match or be better, was that not what they wanted? They say a woman brings out the best in a man. Lets keep challenging them.
There is a song called “I’m a woman” by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. I heard it performed by Cher and Raquel Welsh. Perfectly fits this theme, here are the lyrics: I can wash out forty-four pairs of socks And have them hangin' out on the line I can starch and iron two dozen shirts Before you can count from one to nine I can scoop up a great big dipper Full of lard from the drippin's can Throw it in the skillet, go out and do my Shopping and be back before it melts in the pan 'Cause I'm a woman W-O-M-A-N I'll say it again I can rub and scrub till this old house Is shinin' like a dime Feed the baby, grease the car and Powder my face at the same time Get all dressed up, go out and swing Till four a.m. and then Lay down at five, jump up at six And start all over again 'Cause I'm a woman W-O-M-A-N I'll say it again If you come to me sickly, you know I'm gonna make you well If you come to me hexed up, You know I'm gonna break the spell If you come to me hungry, You know I'm gonna fill you full o' grits If it's lovin' you're lackin, I'll kiss you And give you the shiverin fits 'Cause I'm a woman W-O-M-A-N I'll say it again I can stretch a greenback dollar bill From here to kingdom come I can play the numbers, pay my bills And still end up with some I got a twenty dollar gold piece says There ain't nothin' I can't do I can make a dress out of a feed bag And I can make a man out of you 'Cause I'm a woman W-O-M-A-N I'll say it again 'Cause I'm a woman W-O-M-A-N And that's all

Working hard, having and rasing the kids, doing the cooking and housework. She'll be doing everything and giving her all, not sure what he's planning to contribute other than his little swimmers and half the rent. Those ladies knew they could do better (and fairer)
He is broke or doesn’t want share his money. The only thing he cares is having more money for himself (sharing costs) and free labour and a free secretary, psychologist and someone who risk her life for his legacy and educate his children. I would ask “how much you pay for a 365/24/7 job?”
A good work ethic is important to me. But I'm also childfree, so I have the energy and time to work hard. I don't ascribe to that supermom propaganda, because who benefits from that? Certainly not me.
I’m not against a person not wanting to date a single parent, but I am concerned about why. He claims that he wants to have a family of his own so what he’s saying is that he couldn’t see a stepchild as part of his family. I get the feeling that he’d view the stepchild as a competitor for the mother’s attention. He does want a hardworking woman who caters to him, after all. That’s not a healthy/safe mindset to have if you’re going to be around children. It’s one thing to say you’re not ready to have kids, you don’t want kids at all or you don’t want to deal with the stress that can come with having to deal with your partner’s baby daddy/mama…
If you've dated someone with children when you're child-free, you'd understand. I wish ppl with children would stop trying to guilt child-free ppl to date them. Why aren't you dating other single parents? They'd understand your life
As a single parent. I don’t date at all, but when I did ppl without kids were the hardest at understanding my mindset and schedule. Ppl need to focus on their kids and health. Not a relationship. Wait til they leave home if you want that. It’s the bed we made having a child out of wedlock now.

SheraSeven never lied once.
Yup exactly
Exactly this‼️‼️
I have always been a selfish, self centered person, according to others. Men treat me accordingly.
Drizzle drizzle energy!
I feel this triggers me too as first born daughter of a Jamaican family. I did everything and now I have C-PTSD from it. I need REST!!!! 😭
❤ I don't blame you....are you child free?
I pray you get the rest you deserve as a feminine woman.
Second born middle child in a Jamaican family. ❤
@@SashaFiercerWow, I'm glad that ex, is just that.
Pour love into yourself ladies. Heal and glow! 💖💎💖
Happened to me. I ran.
They want a hard working woman but don’t want to see her hard work achieved through education, as attractive. 🤦🏾♀️
Because they don't want you to work hard for yourself, they want you to work for them. That's why they hate it
Yup.
Men like this want to be the pampered princesses XP
First of all, he doesn’t look
THAT good lol. He’s just clean cut and put together. His posture is weak and his clothes are wearing him.
I find it funny that he stumbled through everything he was looking for until he got to the hardworking part. He said that with his whole chest 😂
That one part he wanted to get out!
@@ecclairmayo4153😂😂😂
That's why Karyn White said "I'm not your superwoman" in her song superwoman
🎵🎵🎵
The way he made being in a relationship with him sound like those women are at a job interview, though...
He doesn’t look good 😂 definitely not dressed nice.
She was being polite
@@icantwiththisI don't think so. She was too happy to hear that she was his type. Which was not shocking to the rest of us.
You want a hardworker then get an employee and pay her a salary
You should absolutely take weekends off! Enjoy your kids and some time to yourself. Maybe a nice bath 🍷
Thank you, I will😊
Yes, rest. And recharge. Work is not worth your mental, emotional, & physical health if there's another option.
He’s 2lbs…., Ofcourse he wants a woman to be “ Hardworking “ code for do EVERYTHING‼️
Chile please 😒
Haha clearly his body ain't built from hard work😂
@@ecclairmayo4153 Exactly!!
A lot of these males look frail.. it’s a huge turn off, I don’t know how so many women are into that scrawny look.
Why on earth would any busy, *hard-working* woman want to be BURDENED with a useless, entitled good-for-nothing...???!! 😮😮
Even if I was dating (thankfully I'm not), I would probably eff off at the first sight of this kind of behaviour...
Ok I hear you thanks for the advice ❤❤❤
This is a very important message that should not be taken lightly! Let's teach our daughters the truth!
The lady at the 5 minute mark! YES! She says what's in my mind! "She going to remember YOU LEFT ME OUT THERE!!!!" OMG! Yes!!!!!!!!
Proverbs 31, is the chapter you're looking for. Instructions on how to be a hard working woman. Patriarchy
The proverbs 31 woman still observed the sabbath. She took a day off to rest each week. In those days, she took the days of her period off for rest. There were mandatory days off after the birth of a child. There was no such thing as go go every day for a pious woman.
Thank you 😊❤
@@roxyroxii1152exactly.
Like the woman wasn’t working day in day out!
Proverbs 31 is the perfect Godly wife.
She isn’t doing the mens labour, she’s doing women’s work and building a business and so successful she hires men to do the work. Her husband is still doing the daily grind. She’s the support from the home.
Proverbs 31 woman was married to a rich man and had SERVANTS!
Thank God, next....
@@nedumnwanze4120 Women supporting women is such a wonderful thing. It's a real shame that all women/girls STILL don't have access to groups like this channel

Shera's so funny
My teen boyfriend called me 10 years later saying he could drop me off to work ( in my car) and live in my apartment. Mind you he was in his 30s , I was probably 26 ag the time. Lazy and lady like

Lol he had nothing for himself but wanted to use your resources for his benefit. Smh 🙄

What a bum. This irks me 😤
Thanks again for your content. I think I m done with men... I m way older than you, but now that I tasted freedom and peace... 😊😂❤

We are supposed to do better by our own lives than our parents did for us. Why would you ask for something regressive when you could get an improved version of your own upbringing by recognizing the shortcomings of your youth, and making the necessary changes to facilitate a higher level of achievement?
Men agree. It's just that some of then want you to provide that for them.
@@ecclairmayo4153 that means those men are lazy
3:20 BIG on the mediocre man wanting a superwoman. This unequal dynamic is so common and so sad to see.
Hardworking and lazy are triggering to me as well, especially as an individual w/ anxiety. The issue is this is part of generational trauma. I was taught to look after others and it’s apparent in the black communities.
I sacrifice my life my beauty my health my body my time my youth for a baby so what do you sacrifice as a man?
I work hard but I’m not giving a man Any of my money or paying any bills. These men do want men
If they need a hardworking woman, they should download mortal Kombat and choose Sonya.
Lmfao. Only work Sonya giving a man is with them high kicks and fists. She’s my favorite character to fight with bc she gon pack a punch everytime.
I'm so glad to see we are waking up & realizing our own worth fr ❤️
As I have said I really think that if you live with a man he can't help himself, he will always look for ways to taje advantage and to siphon your energy through labor, smegs, etc.
I am so glad us women of this generation are waking up!! The lady with the curly hair in white attire was spot on. Like sir, how are you going to want a hard working professional but also a woman that caters to you? ✋🏾 Nah, we're not about to work ourselves to the bone 24/7 in the workplace and at home. 🚷

And you're for a lonely bed at the nursing home
They said they wanted hardworking women so we started getting degrees and climbing ladders to get our own bag while also finding our own self worth. Now we want them to match or be better, was that not what they wanted? They say a woman brings out the best in a man. Lets keep challenging them.
He wants a dude😂
I’m not giving any more labor or MONEY to any man again! 4B!
There is a song called “I’m a woman” by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.
I heard it performed by Cher and Raquel Welsh. Perfectly fits this theme, here are the lyrics:
I can wash out forty-four pairs of socks
And have them hangin' out on the line
I can starch and iron two dozen shirts
Before you can count from one to nine
I can scoop up a great big dipper
Full of lard from the drippin's can
Throw it in the skillet, go out and do my
Shopping and be back before it melts in the pan
'Cause I'm a woman
W-O-M-A-N
I'll say it again
I can rub and scrub till this old house
Is shinin' like a dime
Feed the baby, grease the car and
Powder my face at the same time
Get all dressed up, go out and swing
Till four a.m. and then
Lay down at five, jump up at six
And start all over again
'Cause I'm a woman
W-O-M-A-N
I'll say it again
If you come to me sickly, you know
I'm gonna make you well
If you come to me hexed up,
You know I'm gonna break the spell
If you come to me hungry,
You know I'm gonna fill you full o' grits
If it's lovin' you're lackin, I'll kiss you
And give you the shiverin fits
'Cause I'm a woman
W-O-M-A-N
I'll say it again
I can stretch a greenback dollar bill
From here to kingdom come
I can play the numbers, pay my bills
And still end up with some
I got a twenty dollar gold piece says
There ain't nothin' I can't do
I can make a dress out of a feed bag
And I can make a man out of you
'Cause I'm a woman
W-O-M-A-N
I'll say it again
'Cause I'm a woman
W-O-M-A-N
And that's all
Wow! The part that takes me a back is that this song was written by men but performed by women. Literally and figuratively.

To the madness
Working hard, having and rasing the kids, doing the cooking and housework. She'll be doing everything and giving her all, not sure what he's planning to contribute other than his little swimmers and half the rent. Those ladies knew they could do better (and fairer)

He is broke or doesn’t want share his money. The only thing he cares is having more money for himself (sharing costs) and free labour and a free secretary, psychologist and someone who risk her life for his legacy and educate his children.

A good work ethic is important to me. But I'm also childfree, so I have the energy and time to work hard. I don't ascribe to that supermom propaganda, because who benefits from that? Certainly not me.
He is REALLY looking for a roommate to share the bills 50/50. So he should just be honest and say that.

The Proverbs 31 woman had servants and she was rich.
Her husband was lazy
So basically he wants to get over. 😂
@@SincerelySandcha Forgive me for not understanding. Are your questions directed at me or are you asking general questions?

The song is 'I'm NOT your Superwoman. ' Karyn White.
I think every woman did everything perfectly while he lifted not one finger. We did every job in the house to prove that he should choose us and he still ended up abusing his authority, abusing us, and not choosing us! I bet women aren’t going to just KEEP doing dumb shT like that! I’m damn sure not!
