  • Speed and quality test #elegoo #neptune 4 Max vs #bambu labs #X1 carbon #bambu #3dprinting #3dprint. Didn't plan on making a video. I just needed the same parts printed at the same time and threw this together for those interested. That is why they were not exactly the same, but good info.

linear rails are a must, the layer alignment (walls) and vfa are really bad. had the x1c and k1 max, sent the x1c back because i can mod the creality machines. now all my linear rail printers produce better quality than x1c, even the cr10s pro v2. the 2 rods on X are just a bad idea, if one is a bit off, printhead will bind and cause alot of different problems. i mean, in quality profile bambu sets external wall accelerations to 200mm/s and 2000 accelration, my bedslinger can do those speeds too. x1c is only a fast printer if you don't care about quality.

i dont know i don't think this was a fair "race" here is why the bambu from what i saw had 3 differences 1. supports the elegoo didn't have any supports and just printed the supports will add time 2. the bambu had a purge block in the back where the elegoo did not have a purge block and can be what added even more time on the bambu causing a longer print and the 3rd is as mentioned is layer height so all of this being said id say set the bambu to match the elegoo in all settings and run it again OR add a purge block, supports and set the elegoo to match the bambu layer height and re run it make it a pure 1:1 race from size to infill etc. other wise you are not setting a fair ground

As the description reads, I didn't plan on making a video. I just needed the same parts printed at the same time and threw this video together for those interested. That is why they were not exactly the same in the settings, but in my opinion, good info. I myself was surprised it was as close as it was with similar quality. I will need to print another two brackets soon and will be more Itentional in my settings to see which is truly faster. Thanks for watching.

@@vgshobbies-socialiteworkshop So, it wasn't really a "test" or a "versus", it was "I optimized my print on the Elegoo, and didn't on the Bambu, so the Elegoo wins".
