Zelos is my #1 microbrand, and even though I’m not going after this one, I truly enjoyed seeing it up close in your camera lense and I’m thrilled Zelos once again broke new ground with a unique blend of aventurine, meteorite, and tantalum in one gorgeous package. Well done, sir, That’s a keeper.

@@DesignAtelierhopefully Zelos will launch a Nova 37mm Aventurine glass inner dial with CNC guilloche outer dial or other variants in tantalum case at lower price points to make it more affordable for enthusiasts not wanting the exotic dial materials 🤞🏽

Glad you got the review out in time! Thanks for showcasing the Tantalum case. It's beautiful, but I'm going to wait until Elshan has figured out how to polish the entire case including the tough angular parts. Salmon Nova in SS for me this time!

Polished tantalum will be very expensive
@@lewislee4565 I don't think it will be much more than this. Half the case for this watch is polished Tantalum. Elshan always finds a way to make things affordable.

I own a bunch of zelos. Great , unique watches for the money. Really fun to have and wear. This one is a winner, but not for me. Other than to collect it, I won't really use it. Too dressy for me. Love that they kept the 7001 hand wind movement. It is a great one.
I have a first gen Nova with the mocha dial on the bracelet. Copy of my king seiko😂. But what a stunner!

Even at 37mm I'm owning one of these. I mean its a dress watch, so it can be a bit small.
I own 3 of the 4 previously released tantalum watches. Still hunting that Swordfish tantalum. Hard to find. Gonna try for this one.

I know the community is split over this design, but one thing we can all agree on is that the combo of aventurine and meteorite is a beautiful one. Then you add tantalum and it gets even nore special. I hooe Elshan puts together a mote masculine piece with this combination of materials. Can you imagine a skyraider made with these materials? Im willing to bet more amazing things are to come from Zelos
being split over a design can actually be a good thing because it gives the designers input over what works and what doesn’t. Its a matter of knowing which changes to make.

We can disagree about design of this watch, after all beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But I think we can all agree that horological pirate is great watch reviewer.

Too small for me, but very impressive that they can even work with tantalum. I heard the head of Moser complaining about how hard it is to work with and how it wrecks a set of tools with every case.
It is very hard to work with. I’m sure we’ll run into the same problem down the road of manufacturing our own collections.
Meh, I'm not impressed. It would make a decent dress watch if they offered it in a less crazy dial color. That strap is nice but not exactly very dressy either. Put's it in the casual watch category for me and lord knows I have plenty of those watches already.
