So the reason Velkhana wasn't spawning was NOT because it didn't spawn in expeditions, it's because Elders HAVE to be in an expedition before you even start it (Except the Guiding Lands where they spawn no matter what). Also, the big reason my game crashed was not just because the game was on for 2 days straight, It was also because I was converting footage from MKV files to MP4 files after each recording session while I was in the expedition and the game still being on. This put a lot of pressure on my CPU and that might've had an effect on the GPU in addition to the game being left on for those 2 days. Another thing, I noticed that Barioth, Beotodus, and Viper Tobi took up a lot of the spawn slots which likely means that in expeditions the monsters specific to those regions have higher spawn priority. No wonder they kept spawning... For you Longsword mains out there, I know about the 2 uses and did use the 2nd move within special sheathe for some of the time I used longsword in the video. One more thing! The scheduled power outage didn't happen until much later so it was delayed lol. Oh and most of the rule examples for the wheel challenges were all in B roll (aka footage that was not part of the expedition)

basically MHWI expedition rewards is infact limitless, also tearing material of monster will automatically go into your material box. i once got just 2 Stygian Zinogre mantle but found out i had 15 Stygian Mantles in my material box (check ur material box and keep the numbers) before doing another expedition. this can help you count how many mantles and gems you get overall.
I think the reason velkana didn’t appear is because elder dragons change the weather of the region,which would have meant velkana wasn’t able to spawn,plus of if do it again in world,maybe try the guiding lands,u can’t get mantles while carving there,but atleast u can hunt all elders there

If you do decide to do challenges like mine, I don't recommend the challenges that have too many rules like the Honor challenge. That is unless you plan on doing them for an entire game from start to finish.

I did a 3 day cycle expedition without hunting (2 and a half hours), just gathering. I set myself on the rare endemic life meal at the canteen and waited 3 whole game cycle nights AND I GOT THE RARE JELLYFISH LER'S GOOOO
It would be interesting to try this challenge on the guiding lands but with every biome at level 3-4-5 (depending on the amount of monsters that are unlocked in each map ofc) And leveling the biomes up to get the elders to spawn
I think capping would give you an increased number of mantles in the rewards. Obviously you wouldn't be able to carve them, outside of tails. Also there's a few nuances that I think might be applying here. First, I'm fairly sure that your rewards are reduced the more times you die. I can't remember if that's only a guiding lands thing or if it applies to expeditions, but it's worth considering. Second, I'm fairly certain that rewards specific to certain events are only given once. For example: you get a head break on tigrex so you get additional rewards. At least in older games, that reward bonus was only applied once even if you completed it multiple times. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the same in world. Lastly, you could try to run great luck on your armor skills, as well as capture master to increase rewards. I'm not 100% sure they apply to expeditions. I also don't see why they wouldn't, but hey, anything for science right?
i come from the giddy fox gaming community and he's someone who did exactly what you did but in the guiding lands, he even had a low specs pc back when he did this so he had the added risk of his computer giving up on him
i know u already went for the slingershot run, but there is a "cooler" way to play with the slinger. Its called Thousand Dragons and it is an attack move from the bow, maybe this would be smth for a cool new challenge.

'Not having the guard skill,' Oh MAN! Wish you would've asked people about CB *BEFORE* you did this challenge! Amped shield gives you +2 guard and guard point gives you an additional +2 guard. If you do it right, you're rocking 4 guard without any decos.
So i dont know f youll see this but from my experience elder dragons like velkanah will only spawn in the beginning when there icons are there before you start the expidition
It is weird that brachy wasnt in the hoarfrost reach considering that he was on the ice map in MH3U and zinogre was on the map for only the event quest.

At the absolute minimum and if the guy who got all those rare items. It was still at least and I repeat AT LEAST 141 monsters and they would all have to drop one of those items which is impossible.
im new to monster hunter and i have some questions 1. Can i go from the dessert to the forest without leaving the expedition 2. are all these monsters on the Ps5 3. Can i go to all the bioms in one expedition and not leave it, and how? 4. How do i get those shiny weapons that are yellow and white?
1. No. You have to leave the expedition in the biome you're currently in and manually select the desert from the World map. 2. Monster Hunter World and Iceborne are not on PS5, only Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak are. 3. No. 4. Generally, you get them from specific high-level monsters.

Yep! I'm 2 for 2 with 1 monster not appearing when I need it to. Hopefully next time I do this, I get every goal including all the monsters.

You can use resource monitor to suspend the process and unsuspend it when you wake up. I’ve tried it on MHW before so i’m fairly positive it can work

Something I did was hunt 100 monsters in 1 expedition in Sunbreak, since this and the other video inspired me to do so!
It's crazy how power outage is a regular thing for Americans. I live in Switzerland, and in all my life power went out only 1 once

It took me 2 years to find and catch that endemic life it took longer then fighting fatalis
This behaviour is what made Fatalis appear.

I think Elder dragons can only appear when you not already on the expedition in that area.
