I worked there as a projectionist when it closed. At the beginning of this vid you can see my writing on that pillar and I'd worked there for 912days. Loved the place as a kid and have heaps of great memories there. So sad to see it like it is. Would love a look around now thou, could prob still walk around the place with my eyes closed. I don't mind saying guys i had a tear in my eye watching this ,, First film i saw in here was Bedknobs and Broomsticks 1971 with my parents and i was only 5 but i still remember it, so many memories and it breaks my heart to see it like this ,, & if there's are such things as ghosts there must be one or two walking around in there ..

I remember Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats performing here in the early 80's. I still have a my Golden ticket and the photos of Bob singing his little heart out. Happy, Happy memory's. Thanks for sharing.
I watched most of early James Bond films with parents plus Thunderbirds are Go with my primary school (Broadfields) as part of Christmas treat at this cinema.
Sad, I worked there in summer Holidays, and Saturday morning kid's club, Mrs Hunt was a lovely manager. We no longer have a cinema (in town, with public transport), but the building remains.
Almost cried :( lol always went to the saturday morning picures, first 10 got in free so me and me sis made sure we were the first so we could spend our 25p on munch :( i would love to get inside there but that is all being knocked down as we speak :( its really hard to see in like this :( I blooming hate this town now.
as we go into digital projection, all of the lovely 35mm film projectors will start dissapearing, the lovely classic cinema film grain will be gone forever, and all we will be left with is pretty much massive data projectors that are rigged up for cinema use! RIP classic cinema.
I know how to get In back of the building right hand side car park go to the very end of the car park climb the lowest 2 buildings then run across over the railing there is a door to the left hand side to the main bit of the building then u are in the projection room every one enjoy your visit if u do this I have not done it but don’t want to risk it I was revealed on another vid recently on another channel I examined the whole building at the back but was caught by one of the staff in the estate agents and I just said don’t worry I am leaving I stayed in the town for the rest of the day so then I was not in too much trouble

There must have been an Imagesound AHD1 and amp or even just some Delta Sound ceiling speakers in there?
went here in september was going 2 go in but all the entrances were blocked up by metail walls and that :(

the odeon was thee onlt cinema to go to in harlow, now all there is is the evil mega screen thing. i just dont go there it too horrible.

the last film i watched in there was starwars episode 3 in 2005 or 2006. and they tried turning it into a strip club...
