Harlow Odeon Cinema , Just before it closed , August 2005

Filmed 14/8/05 during a visit to the Projection Room , just before it closed on the 29/8/05. The Projection equipment was removed on the 30/8/05

Another fine Odeon closed and gone ! These fine buildings was our places of entertainment once and we felt it gave us the true cinema experience too. Lovely places of romances made and excitement of films to come there . There is no place like them and nothing will replace it . Harlow is now poorer for the sad closure of its fine odeon.

It was sold and was going to be some sort of club , but the new owner so far could not get planning permission, as far as I know

It'll be left to rot unfortunately. Such a shame. I saw a few films there as a kid
