I used to work for your parents at Isleworth. You were a toddler and your mom was pregnant with your sister last time I saw them. I’ve followed both of you and am so glad you guys have had great success in golf. Please say hello to your mom and dad. My name is Ian😊
Mate your parents seem so wonderful and they have raised two quality humans in yourself and your sister! Keep up the great content and representing Australia the way that you do so well!
Gabi started the match off with really nice looking strokes on both wings and good positioning and posture. Ryan looked like he was using too much energy and effort trying to hit the ball hard in the beginning, looked like he was always on the run and never set for his shots. And then later on there in the set it looks like Gabi was running on fumes, out of breath and form started to break down. While Ryan’s form looked a lot cleaner and smoother by the end. Was way more efficient with his shots by the latter part of the set. It was cool we got to see all this in one set. This is what tennis is all about. Anything can happen! Great playing by both of you! Enjoyed this video! Loved the court and location looked nice! Bonus: Literally that handshake at the end embodies how ATP handshakes are and how WTA handshakes are 😂
This was great! After the first two games, I thought you were going to get smoked. Way to persevere. Love what you are doing with your channel. First saw you on Rick's channel I think, then the stuff with Kwon was great. Good luck this year!
Stumbled on this video and am just a casual tennis player: Ryan would improve quickly just by split stepping and getting into the ready position consistently. Stay on those toes. He looks off balance and is chasing so often cause his body ain't ready. Proper shoes would probably help too 😅 Forehand looks great! Very clean and sounds beautiful.
Awesome match. Relatively speaking Gabi is a better player but men’s and women’s sports scale differently. Straight up man to man Ruff is indeed, the man. Love you guys.
Grest match guys, thats was fun to watch even for me as a former tennis pro 😊👏 Quick tip Ryan, use tennis shoes next time 😅 you could twist your ankle 🙈
You have insight into both tennis and golf. Your probably to young to have played much with a wood racket but what do you think has had a greater impact on its sport. The larger faced tennis racket or golf club? Which made its sport easier to play and and learn for the average player?
I’ve honestly seen less competitive and less interesting matches on tour lately, this was a good watch. Once you started committing to that bigger and flatter first serve more it made a difference.
Technique wise some of the better amateur TH-cam tennis I’ve seen in a while. No Janky grips or weird stroke production. You can see the junior tennis backgrounds both of them had. They had competent coaches. Frankly I believe Gabi lost mainly because she got a little tired in the later part of the set. Next time exploit your brothers slice only backhand for the win.
I think Ryan won because he was “fitter” than Gabi. You can hear her really panting near the end of the set. However, if she did go up the court on the short balls (as what their father said) to end the points earlier, she would have won. Definitely something to look forward in the re-match. Well done guys!
Gabi started off really strong and I thought Ryan was going to get smoked. I was surprised at the final score! Couple of things to work on for Ryan: the backhand could use some improvement. I've noticed mostly you're hitting slices just trying to keep the ball in play to set up a forehand, and never taking a nice full backhand swing with topspin, whereas Gabi does have a nice backhand. Or, you're running around the backhand to hit a forehand. Much like in golf with putting from the fringe instead of chipping, you can only go so far doing that until it catches up to you, unless you're Steffi Graf.
Sure watching this Gabi was thinking... "Is nobody going to say anything about the clear foot fault on that "Ace" ??? Coupled with that "out call" at 2 - 0 Add to Ryan.. it could have been a different outcome" HAHA.. very entertaining video! Nice job
If Gabi wants win she needs to develop a better serve . She simply pushes her serve over while Ryan at times has some pace on his serve. Both you have good ground games. But I knew from 1st game that Ryan was going to win. He moved well and ran around his backhand aggressively. Gabi ground strokes were very accurate and that's really why the score was close.
Ryan you technically cheated in the third game, that ball on the forehand side that landed very close to the baseline may have been out but you didn’t call it. You can’t go to the replay unless you called it out. You said you didn’t know therefore the point goes to your sister. You have to make a definite call, your sister got robbed
Haha it wasn’t that serious mate. We were just trying to make the best calls we could to make it as fair as possible. I let her replay one and she let me replay one. All good in the family 🙌🏼

I’ll let them know !
It’s crazy because I could see you both improving and learning throughout the match getting better and better
I see neither of you wanted to win bc I saw no cheating
Guys Luke Kwon commented on my post 😱🤩
But fr the instant replay caught a couple close ones 👀

Thank you!!

"Gimme a hug"
"No" 🤣🤣
The standard improved a lot as the set kept going! Great job. Really fun to watch!
Half the gene pool right here ^^😂😂
Great video and quite competitive! Nice to see you guys having fun, also great to see your parents doing well too! From your old Cosmos Coach…
Popped over from Kwon's channel. Hoping you both have a grear year on your prospective tours
That was a blast to watch, high level stuff!
Which tennis club did you guys play in this match?
The mountainous views in the background are picturesque...
Especially when the sun's going down.
Toscana Country Club in Indian wells CA!

That was great fun guys! Great content!

This was so entertaining
Thank you!!
Good match guys!
Fun match and what a facility and views! So jealous. Looking forward to more golf and tennis matches.
Thanks for watching! I think we’re gonna have to rematch on the golf course
I want to see a golf comp!! Well done Ruff (the elder)!
Awesome match. Relatively speaking Gabi is a better player but men’s and women’s sports scale differently. Straight up man to man Ruff is indeed, the man. Love you guys.
I want to see the golf match
Can't wait to see the golf

What club is that y’all are playing at? Looks very posh
Toscana Country Club
Great job Ruff! What a talented family 😅😅

Something had to change. Decided to go for it. Thanks for watching !!
Awesome content!
Appreciate it!
South Cali is perfect for playing Tennis!
Legit Tennis skills by both. Impressive.
that drone footage goes crazzzyyyy🔥

You've made me want to play my sister at tennis now. There would be a ton of double faults in that match though

I thought she would've more tbh

I’m sure my sister will be happy to hear I’m fitter 😉

If I had time to grind on my tennis I would love to develop a backhand a bit better. But it might have to stay as a slice for now haha
I honestly haven’t seen this level of competition. Good Job Gabi and Ryan. Best tennis match I’ve seen in a while.
We need more this please
Thanks for watching mate! Was fun to do. We’ll have to run it back on the golf course
@@RyanRuffelsGolf nice nice.
Good camera work and editing btw. Very well done
1v1 match play next?
I think we have to
Sure watching this Gabi was thinking... "Is nobody going to say anything about the clear foot fault on that "Ace" ??? Coupled with that "out call" at 2 - 0 Add to Ryan.. it could have been a different outcome" HAHA.. very entertaining video! Nice job
Tried our best with the calls. Need an umpire next time. Thanks for watching!
@@RyanRuffelsGolf just kidding obviously. Love your videos!
Were you wearing running/trainer shoes not tennis shoes? 😅 that would make it harder to move around on the court
Didn’t bring my tennis shoes to Cali unfortunately 😅
Ruff got the talent, sister got the looks from her Mum.

I think we spend too much time golfing to work on the tennis game. But I'm sure she will want a rematch
Good video, questionable calls on both sides, that last ball of hers was in for sure.
Haha, hard calling your own calls. Maybe I need an umpire next time
Seriously? Only 1 mic?
Only one working one at least 😂
Nelly and you tennis? Brother, sister 2v2 in golf and tennis. Korda vs Ruffles.
I think I could take you both
Probably tbh
why does Gabi not have an accent? don't lose the accent Ryan!
Well I wouldn’t play either of you at tennis or golf 😂
😂😂😂
I dont know 7:51 looked good..
mother ruffels from the usa?
she is!
Fun
It was !!
Gabi is so Beautiful 😍!!!!!!

she's cute ngl
You need a backhand, Ryan. That slice ain't cutting it😅
Good enough I guess 😉 but I agree!
gabby is better at both golf and tennis!!!
Maybe, but she lost both this time 👀
That was a good match! Gabi is whoopin you everyday of the week, she knew it was your YT......she let ya win!
Hahaha my ego is far too big to get my sister to “let me win”😂😂😂 but I agree she has way better mechanics than me
