Thanks so much for sharing this, Dacey! I have dry skin & get those annoying dry patches often so I am going to look into some of these, this was so helpful & informative. By the way the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper is so awesome!
This video helped alot, I actually went out last night and bought some of your recommended cleansers! Love them. It would be nice to see a cream contour video from you too😊
You have amazing skin! I have the same skin type as you so this video was very interesting! Can't wait for your FOREO Luna thoghts/review/tutorial...Although I have and like the clarisonic Mia, I feel lazy to use it due to the charging and maintenance of brushes...sooo I want to buy a foreo Luna mini because it seems more user friendly.
I have insanely dry skin too! It's horrible :/ Some days it gets to the point where the dry patches start stinging. I HIGHLY suggest the "Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream With Super 7 Complex" by Fresh! I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and my face has completely calmed down.. theres no more redness, patches, or annoying stinging! *PRAAAAAIIIISEEEE* It's not heavy to wear under makeup.. just give your face a minute to slurp up all the goodness, and definitely moisturizing enough for the night! Also smells like honeydew !YUM! and feels so refreshing!
Karen Ariel I just did some quick research and it seems to get all great reviews like yours! I will definitely have to check it out! I'm looking for something a little bit more heavy duty for the day time especially on days when I feel more dry! Thank you for the suggestion! x
I've been watching your videos since long time ago, Dacey, and your skin is always perfect! Thank you for suggestions, and a big plus that all these stuff works good on asian skin type :) I just want to ask you 1. if you have any recommends for dark under eye circles and 2. what product do you use for tanning?
Dacey, do you still use the Clinique dramatically different lotion? I remember seeing it in one of your past vids. Do u still like it? I use it everyday - it's my holy grail!
I loved this! I have semi-dry skin too. When do you use the NARSskin Double Refining Exfoliator? And when/how often do you use an enzyme peel? And do you use an eye cream and facial oil every night and morning?
I try everything but my skin is so bad, your skin is so beautiful! I'm so jealous! please do a night routine vid & a night makeup look if you can someday
Oh my god! I have trying to think of who you like and I finally got it. you look like a mix of maia Mitchell, vivian vo farmer, and a little bit of miss universe 2015 and selena gomez! anyone else agree?
I always love your skincare videos!! I'm currently obsessing over the Thayer's Rose Toner from your precious skincare vid :) And I was always told that serum should go before moisturizer, so now I'm really excited to see how my skin reacts by doing serum after! Thanks for the great info :)
MargaretMaryMeg That was a word fart for me! What I meant to say was that oils can penetrate moisturizers! Or serums with oils. Not ALL serums can penetrate moisturizer, so putting it on before moisturizer depending on what's in it might be better for you! Sorry for the confusion lol
Oh got it! That makes total sense, I sometimes feel like my moisturizer doesn't really get past the layer of serum, so I'll try it out and see how it goes anyways :) Thanks again girl!
Just found your vids & I love! Also love that you're not using 100% Mac. Ain't nobody got time or $.Can you talk a bit about brush care and changing colors (foundation, etc) for seasons?
I know everyone does things different but for maximum results, you would want to do your serum first then your moisturizer. Serums are more concentrated than moisturizers so you would want them directly on clean skin so it can sink in then you would put on your moisturizer.
I had no idea that you're supposed to put a serum on after a moisturizer! I just got really into serums this year and I always thought that you're supposed to use the serum and then put the moisturizer over it! My skin just recently started feeling insanely dry so definitely going to reverse that now
Morgan Waas Nooooo that was a word fart ugh now everyone is going to be confused! Sorry I meant to say oils because I was about to show my L'oreal facial oil
I just wanted to ask you because you have mentioned the Chocolate bar palette in a couple of videos. Do you think that I need it when I own the Naked 1 and 2? Is it better and not SO similar as it looks? Haha! Love you, and your skin is to die for
Yes very helpful! Does the Cetaphil have spf? I know that's always something people look for in daytime moisturizers. And have you tried the kheils midnight recovery oil? What are your thoughts?
I just watched your August and September 2014 favourites and you mentioned maybe getting a long bob, think it would suit you so much! Are you still thinking of doing it!? + love your videos so so much💜
I love your videos! I feel like there aren't many makeup gurus with dry skin so it's hard to relate and try the same products because of my eczema. I was wondering if you could make a video on your favorite foundations drug store and/or high end for dry skin. Many of the ones I've tried make me flaky and peel. Thanks!
Kimberly Javier I'm actually still trying a lot of foundations because I don't have very many favorites (since I've always stuck to the same stuff.) I swear by Bare Minerals original powder because I've been wearing it since I was 15! Liquid favorites are Shu Uemura Lightbulb, Bare Minerals Bare Skin and L'oreal True Match and Revlon Colorstay whipped.
Thank you for using products that aren't supah popular lol. Sometimes it feels like whenever I watch beauty videos, it's the same products over and over again. You definitely introduced a whole lot of new products to me! Haaaaaaay lol
kristeeenuhhh Haha well I don't have anything against the super popular products - but I just have to use what I know works for me! I hope you try some stuff out - let me know!
thanks for this great skincare video! i have a couple of questions if you could help/answer that'd be awesome! i think have oily/combination skin, its usually pretty calm but my cheeks have this tiny red, peeling spot, not itchy or anything, but it makes my foundation patchy looking, if it makes sense. im not allergic or sensitive to anything, ive tried all kinds of creams and scrubs, even argan oil, it just wont go away. any ideas? thanks!
i have a question do you recommend the simple product line for particularly sensible dry skin ?? I've been developing eczema and don't know how to stop peeling .
I've been looking for a good face sunscreen. What do you recommend for that? I know there is one you used to use my I cant find that video right now. HELP PLEASE!! Thank you!
I want to try everything you showed. Eventhough La Praire is si Expensive , Is it Really worthy ? Because in my country the price is like $200 or something
hey! you are amazing! Ive watched your videos. you are so beautiful !! i'm your fans from Asia. Anyway, do you have any suggestion about blackhead problem? i got blackhead problem on my Tzone.
I think we have exactly the same skin type! So this video is extremely helpful. Also, I recently bought the nipple cream you suggested, and it has been amazing!!! So thank you 😄
Loved the video! My favorite serum of all time is by Natura Bisse and it's the C+C Vitamin Complex. It's got a lot of vitamin C in it, so I feel like it really helps your skin obtain a beautiful, natural glow. But, like the La Prairie toner, it is pricey, but it's such a great product. Once you run out of some of your other serums, and if you feel like splurging, you should give it a try! :)
Dacey!! I love you so much and your videos as well!! 💜 so my skin is way different than yours it gets really oily which make me break out a lot mostly happens on my T zone and I dislike it so much, I don't know much about skin care products and such but I'm only 15 so I'm learning more and more, I usually use simple skin care products like neutrogena and clean&clear and I started using neutrogena last year I used the acne kit and that made my skin dry and it felt irritated so I stopped using it and my skin got bad not really bad but you get the idea. I don't know how to get rid of the acne and I hate it! On my nose I have been getting dark spots and I use nose pore strips but they aren't working for me I don't know what else to use I don't wear heavy makeup I don't wear foundation that much, and I have watched a lot of skin care videos but none of them seem to help as much cause there's 2 problems They don't sell them where I live (colorado) or I simply can't find them, I'm glad you made this video but can you help me as well 😩😭 I love you so much and I love your skin you are naturally beautiful! (Sorry This is a long comment)
osiris nolasco For the dark spots, I would recommend gentle exfoliators and start wearing an SPF every single daaaaay because that will help with preventing pimples from getting dark, and hyper pigmentation getting darker. I do suggest that you try the Clean & Clear Continuos Control cleanser with Benzoyl Peroxide. Most products contain Salicylic Acid, and maybe it's not working for you. Honestly boo, I recommend that you go to a dermatologist because the doctor will be able to help you so much than I will!
Just curious, where did you learn to put a serum on last? I work in the cosmetics/skin care industry for Clairns Paris, and we've always been taught the exact opposite.
That makes perfect sense! I didn't even think of that I was just wondering how that was working for you basically. (I wasn't trying to sound like a know-it-all) .. But you do seem to be very well educated on skincare.. Great video by the way!
I've noticed that people with dry skin, usually have pretty clear skin most of the time, while oily skinned people usually have alot more zits/pimples. I have dry skin, and I get a pimpleliteraly like every two-three months. o.o The only problemI have is dryness, but I just moisterize and that's it lol
Guys you need to make sure you're not stressed or not allergic to anything your using and keep your sheets clean. Don't use too many products either because most products cater to oil skin even if it's for moisture, our skin agitates easier. When I got into college I was super stressed and going through a break-up and eating too much or not enough, so yes I broke out like n my cheek, I mean not severely it wasn't noticeable but it happens. Take care of yourself. Most pimples are because of hormone imbalances.
Try Boots Expert Scar Care Serum! I got it from Target (US). It does take about a month to see a difference but it does work. Noticed it works faster on newer than older scars (: here's a link www.target.com/p/boots-expert-scar-care-serum-1-3-fl-oz/-/A-12734578
I take skincare seriously as well :) loved this video - excited to try new products since the ones you mentioned are significantly cheaper. I've been using Claudile for a long time now and been loyal to it. The only problem is the price! Expensive, but the results are killer and my skin has never looked this perfect my entire life. Maybe you'd be interested in trying also :) anyways! Love your videos!
Emmy Touran I love NYX Angel Veil and still stand beside it buuuuut I've got a new one that I've been loving this month which I share in my Feb faves! ;)
Darn I can't use many of the products because my skin is so ridiculously oily lol :( but I still want to try some of the products thanks so much for this video! I had been so curious for so long on how you have such gorgeous flawless skin!
I have extremely oily skin and let me tell you whatever you think is bad for your skin because you're afraid you'll produce more oil is wrong. I started using Claudile facial oil and it gave me glowing/radiant skin and fixed so many of my skin problems. I was never a grease ball when using it and I would use it morning and night. So don't be afraid to try oils and serums. They make a world of a difference. I am also no longer acne prone. I used to break far more often before I started learning about skincare and no I only breakout when it's hormonal, lack of sleep, extremely stressed, and obviously if I eat bad food it will definitely reflect on surface. But other than that my skin has never looked better in my entire life. I'm excited to try the serums and oils she suggested because Claudile is so expensive but I didn't bare because of the results I was getting. Hope this helps!
Doll Face i've actually been hearing that a lot! that oils for oily skin is good! i'm soo scared to try it though but i'm gonna look more into it now because i do have a lot of little bumps... but thank you! i'll def try it out
Marina Escajeda oils for oily skin are incredible! Stay away from products that contain Olive oil, and coconut because they will clog your pores, but Rose Hip Seed oil will be your savior, as will jojoba. I highly reccomend the oil cleansing method
Please do an updated skincare and eyebrow routine!
Your long hair is absolutely beautiful but this video (because of the frame) made me think you'd also look very pretty with short hair!
"I didn't want to look like a worm" Hahahaha! Like you could ever. ❤️😘
Thanks so much for sharing this, Dacey! I have dry skin & get those annoying dry patches often so I am going to look into some of these, this was so helpful & informative. By the way the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper is so awesome!
Jocelyn Calderon Yay! I am so pumped that you love it because I have been loving it even more this month and using it almost every single day! xo
love the boscia sponge...i like the black cleanser but boscia's purifying cleansing gel is my all time FAVE cleanser. love it.
the lights in the background look so pretty! you're gorgeous 💕
Sarah Thank ya, Sarah!
This video helped alot, I actually went out last night and bought some of your recommended cleansers! Love them.
It would be nice to see a cream contour video from you too😊

Wow, I never realized how much I love your skincare vids before! Keep up the amazing work!
You have amazing skin! I have the same skin type as you so this video was very interesting! Can't wait for your FOREO Luna thoghts/review/tutorial...Although I have and like the clarisonic Mia, I feel lazy to use it due to the charging and maintenance of brushes...sooo I want to buy a foreo Luna mini because it seems more user friendly.

leismile Thanks so much!
Great video, informative and great selection of products even though I'm 100% dry skin. Your videos are always nice to watch!

I try everything but my skin is so bad, your skin is so beautiful! I'm so jealous!
please do a night routine vid & a night makeup look if you can someday
If you like after cleanse toners, a good mid ranged one is the Shiseido Pureness Balancing Softener
Oh my god! I have trying to think of who you like and I finally got it. you look like a mix of maia Mitchell, vivian vo farmer, and a little bit of miss universe 2015 and selena gomez! anyone else agree?

Holy shit I looked these up on Amazon and these are SOOOO expensive
Pretty boothang! I need to try some of the products you mentioned! 💋💋💋
I know everyone does things different but for maximum results, you would want to do your serum first then your moisturizer. Serums are more concentrated than moisturizers so you would want them directly on clean skin so it can sink in then you would put on your moisturizer.
nancy92792 I cleared this up earlier- I meant to say oils. Sorry for the confusion.
I enjoy watching your videos so much!!

I wasn't even gonna question you hahaha no worries!!!! It happens to the best of us:)
Morgan Waas Hahaha yes yes. But ugh I feel like it's going to cause a lot of confusion, I'll have to put up an annotation or something! Thanks girl
I just wanted to ask you because you have mentioned the Chocolate bar palette in a couple of videos. Do you think that I need it when I own the Naked 1 and 2? Is it better and not SO similar as it looks? Haha! Love you, and your skin is to die for

Glitterfusion Thanks!
Hi Dacey! What are your thoughts on the Mac Fix +? Is it amazing for the skin?
Sha y Completely amazing
daceyhapa There's also the charged water from Mac. Have you tried it before? :)
i have a question do you recommend the simple product line for particularly sensible dry skin ?? I've been developing eczema and don't know how to stop peeling .
I've been looking for a good face sunscreen. What do you recommend for that? I know there is one you used to use my I cant find that video right now. HELP PLEASE!! Thank you!

What do you use for lip balm?
Ps: I want to look like you when I'm older (:
hi dacey ive a question, so ywhen you remove your makeup you do it with a cleansing oil and then you use the facial wash after?
Valeria Arcos Yes!
hey! you are amazing! Ive watched your videos. you are so beautiful !! i'm your fans from Asia. Anyway, do you have any suggestion about blackhead problem? i got blackhead problem on my Tzone.
nur shazleen Exfoliation always helps me out when I have blackheads :)
I think we have exactly the same skin type! So this video is extremely helpful. Also, I recently bought the nipple cream you suggested, and it has been amazing!!! So thank you 😄
zanjabeel Awesomeeee! I'm glad you love it!

how often do you cleanse?

Janella De la rosa Thank you for always watching, Janella!
Just curious, where did you learn to put a serum on last? I work in the cosmetics/skin care industry for Clairns Paris, and we've always been taught the exact opposite.
Catherine Straub Again, sorry that was a word fart and I meant to say oils. I apologize for the confusion
That makes perfect sense! I didn't even think of that I was just wondering how that was working for you basically. (I wasn't trying to sound like a know-it-all) .. But you do seem to be very well educated on skincare.. Great video by the way!

Same!
Nope!! My skin breaks out and its superrrr dry too!!
I'm so jealous because my skin is super dry patchy and red and I get pimples all the time and have huge pores! Nothing works for my poor skin :(
Guys you need to make sure you're not stressed or not allergic to anything your using and keep your sheets clean. Desirae Romano Try the Dermalogica Ultra Calming range, I know it's expensive but it's really great for dry, sensitive skin :)
what would you say is good product for acne scarring
Yes I would also like to know! ☺
Daiana Freitas Scarring, I can't help you with because I don't know anything about! I'm really only familiar with hyper pigmentation, sorry!
Daiana Freitas most acne scarring IS hyperpigmentation :) I suffer with scarring as well! Exfoliants help me, also masks, toners, and moisturizing!
acne scarring is usually actual dips or small indentations in the skin. not discoloration

I highly reccomend the oil cleansing method
kitty4x4 yeah i will definitely stay away from olive oil it caused my sister to get cysts on her face.. but i will look into those products thanks!
