I have a question about the John Frieda refreshing gloss. You said you used the cool blonde tone to reduce any reddishness. I have dark brown/black hair with warm undertones and I am slowly trying to lighten it (with peroxide mostly). I like the way it's turning out right now but I'm afraid that if I keep going lighter, it will come out orange and I want a cooler brown. Will the gloss in cool blonde help with that? Or is it only effective on dyed hair? Thanks!
If you like the macadamia oil hair mask try the moroccanoil brand intensive hair mask (not sure if that's the name but it's the hair mask with orange lid). It is LITERALLY the best hair mask you will ever try. As long as you do it right lol. It will make your hair baby new. So good and shits on macadamia oil hair mask! 😍😍😊

What I think you were trying to say was your hair is low porosity. Meaning the shaft is smooth and the cuticles are closed tightly. Asian hair is like this which is why it's so shiny. But it means that it's hard to penetrate. I'm French, but my hair is low porosity too. When your hair is 'noodle-y" it's because the bleach has made your hair porous so the water floods the holes and then it stretches from the weight and snaps. Protein will seal the shaft making it less porous. And likewise too much protein on your low porous hair will seal it up too much making it harder to get moisture and it will snap from becoming too brittle.

Tia Elster I've had balyage in the past but they are down way low on the shafts of my hair - so I do have some very subtle highlights I've put closer to my face and higher up the hair. I'm glad people notice! Haha

Is the Sauve Professionals Sleek Look Shampoo as good as the Matrix one? Its a lot cheaper, but I've heard its just as good.
