  • My first ever MotoVlog. Join me as I drive across town to my buddies motorcycle shop, and check out his vintage CB750 chopper. I'll also share some of the sights and sounds of my hometown in Knoxville, TN.

Your 350 sure sounds good. As you know, run it through the gears to red line and she really sings. Your friend with the bike shop seems like one of the few independant bike shops I would consider dropping off one of my old carbureted bikes. I was in Sturgis during the rally last summer, and my 1987 Kawasaki Concours sprung a leak on one of the oil cooler lines. Nursed it to a new Kawasaki dealer in Rapid City, SD to see if they would lend me tools and an oil drain pan to render it ridable back home, doing this in their parking lot. Talking to the service manager, he said they won't work on any bikes older than ten years old. And a carburetor, what's that? Take care!

      Ten years??
      I have a 1919 Harley JD, 66 CB 450, 61, 87,and 03 sidecar equipped (all three Sportsters,) oh, and a 52 Harley K model.
Ten years old- not even run in.
      Tragic.

Great video man!! I actually have a question for you if thats ok, On your cb750 what are you bar end mirrors, and are you happy with them?

They are 7/8 basic clipons from 4into1.com , go check them out! Yea, the side mirrors are some pretty reasonably priced mirrors I got from revzilla and they do a decent job! I think the mirrors were $50 or so? I prefer the low profile look of the mirrors, especially on a brat or cafe style bike. Hope that helps!

About your treating red lights as a 4way stop. Don't do that. You can turn right on a red but any other direction you wait on the green. I'm in Knoxville too

Interesting! I’ve always done that, even with police in view, and never even ticketed. 🤷‍♂️
