my recommendation is to keep it aside, and in a future episode you commit the whole episode to trying to find the budget to buy it off yourself, and if you fail, you have to sell it and all profit from that episode can go to another project or another episode that way you still take a swing at getting the game in a gamecube gambit episode, but you can still count the profit from selling it in this episode because you bought it off yourself at the expected price
@@krossboe8512 thats what im saying, if he buys it off himself at the price he expected to sell the disc ($650 if i remember correctly) then he'll still have earned that profit
You gotta flip that Pokémon game, the profit alone will buy you some high end games. But the chase is also so much fun to watch to find a complete copy!
I love how honest you are! You easily could’ve edited this video/told the story to look like Game Exchange came last in the day and you had enough money to buy BOX! Either way I’m glad you found it
Caleb, I’m so invested into your channel and series that I started to resell and collect. I started my n64 and GameCube collection the end of January and have 4 Nintendo 64’s and 3 GameCubes lol. I have about 20 games for the GameCube and 15 for the 64. I’ve made more money flipping than I’ve spent. Thank you for the mentorship through your videos. I will eventually start amazon after I get more comfortable with eBay! Keep grinding
I remember seeing that Pokémon Box in another video a while back and was surprised you didn’t grab it. But slow and steady won the race cuz not only was it marked down but you got a discount on top! Greatness happens to those who are patient I guess!
Yeah, I remember it too and when he showed his list a few episodes later and I saw that it wasn’t checked off, I got confused bc I thought he bought it lol
Congratulations On Finding Pokemon Box!! My Suggestion Is That You Put It Aside! Now, in terms of the Scooby-Doo game that could have been added, I would have suggested Night Of A 100 Frights because of how popular it was. Not that Unmasked and Mystery Mayhem are bad (Which they are so much fun), but Night Of 100 Frights would make ANY collection look fun! Now, you do NOT have to take these recommendations for the GameCube Collection, but I feel that these would be great to add: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Ed, Edd, N' Eddy: The Mis Ed-Ventures A Naruto Game (Any Game) Scooby-Doo: Mystery Mayhem Scooby-Doo: Night Of 100 Frights But once again dude, fantastic video, and congratulations on ALL the latest pickups AND Pokemon Box! Keep up the great work!
I would definitely sell Pomemon Box for now, you will be much more satisfied finding it complete, and once you knock out these other games on your list, it wont take much for you to get that amount together. Glad to see Box go, I had been tempted to buy it in the past lol.
I remember a few years ago, the game store inside of the Fayette Mall had a complete Pokemon Box for like $350, looking back, i should have bought it, and flipped it now for $1500 lol
Burnout and NFS are both incredible franchises especially back in the day. I played tons of Burnout 2 and NFS Underground on the Gamecube which i strongly recommend for everyone who enjoys classic arcade racing. I also think that the graphics of Burnout 2 are incredible on the Gamecube and the handling of the cars are very nice and feel natural.

Can someone explain, why Pokemon Box is currently at around 80-120€ on ebay in Germany? Is that a different version? Or have the prices just heavily dropped in the last two years?
I appreciate you sticking to your rules about the GameCube gambit, of course it may be awhile or it could be next week to find another Pokémon box, either way it’s nice that you aren’t bending the rules for it. Keeping it authentic

Killing itttt! Crazy find, cant believe you didnt use all of the budget from that and still had enough to get every one you wanted and needed for the gambit!!🤟
I think in the future what would be fair is if you manage to grow your budget enough that you could have bought it with your budget (without adding its own flipping price) by the end of the video you can keep it as your gambit pur have and if not then you have to take the hit and sell it for the gambit budget It would allow you to pick up some harder to find games if you see them early on in your gambit so you don't have to miss out on the more expensive and rare titles without you needing to risk going over on the budget Might also be cool to have videos where you do a gambit focused on saving so you have enough to spend on a bigger game because I know it's gonna be hard to build up enough budget in just one video for some of those games
Can’t believe you found Pokémon Box! I would have kept it (especially at the price you found it at!) though selling it wasn’t a terrible choice either. What a great episode!

Where are you located? In South Dakota and stuff I’ve even bought from good willl online prices are super low compared to what you are buying games for ..?
Ok, wait what? Pokemon box is the rarest game cube game mentioned in the title? I inherited my dad's Nintendo collection, plus my own personal copy, both with boxes and manuals. I seriously had no idea. Thanks for the video. *Runs off to check ebay*
Solution: Keep the loose disc Pokemon box. Go into negative budget and make up the money. Try to find another Pokemon box complete (perhaps by trading other high end stuff you find) and flip the loose disc Pokemon Box afterwards to bring your budget back in line. It is also unlikely but not impossible that you manage to find the other components of Pokemon Box on their own perhaps at a con. I just think when you find a rare game that you want for your collection it's best to hold and try to upgrade since you really don't know when you will find that perfect target and the game itself has value that you can always trade or sell in the future. In other words, you can make more money on flips or find other premium Gamecube games to trade towards a complete copy but it may be very hard for you to even find another loose disc Pokemon Box at a budget friendly price. I always hold onto items I'm not sure I will see again.
In the UK you can get pokemon box for around £30 disc only and about £100 for complete why is the US so expensive ps digimon rumble arena 2 should be on the list it was a very good game
So confused, why do I see so many English copies of Pokémon Box selling for like, under $50? Counterfeit or what am I missing? Or importantly, what should I be looking out for?
Have you considered making a other list of all your current GameCube games that are Players Choice that you would want to get in black label instead? That way you know what games you don’t have and what games you could upgrade as well.
I'd say definitely the right choice to flip Pokemon Box, as I'd say the chances of finding the box and manual for it separately would be like a needle in a haystack and ultimately just getting a fully complete one in one go will be the easiest. As for most played GameCube game, definitely Mario Kart: Double Dash, though had there not been a Wii sequel within 2 years, Super Mario Strikers would probably have taken that crown.
I think this has been my favorite GG episode yet. 🙂 Also, I made need to make a weekend trip out of your stops. Living in Southeastern Indiana, that’s very doable. 😉

the fact you found it in the wild warrants a keep.
Mario golf on the GameCube was a legendary game growing up
So confused, why do I see so many English copies of Pokémon Box selling for like, under $50? Counterfeit or what am I missing? Or importantly, what should I be looking out for?
Have you considered making a other list of all your current GameCube games that are Players Choice that you would want to get in black label instead? That way you know what games you don’t have and what games you could upgrade as well.
should def visit Pikeville KY for Page 3 and Gaming Co!
If you come across a Scooby doo,: night of 100 frights, pick it up immediately. Not an expensive game but a superbly fun one
