Hearing you say "looks like Mage-Knight or something.." brought me such nostalgia. I walked into a card shop one day while a Yugioh tourney was going on. My grandma left me while she went to the craft store, but after Yugioh a bunch of older guys came in and whipped out green felt 3x3ft boards to start playing a MageKnight campaign battle. The "battlemaster" let me used some of his pieces to play with them. Somehow I won the entire scenario and was awarded a limited edition figurine. At 8 years old I was hooked. I still go through my 1000+ piece Mage Knight collection from time to time wishing I could sit down and play again. It was a sad day when Wizkids discontinued the MK game pieces.
I dig these kinds of videos because it’s like a time capsule combined with the satisfaction of sorting through stuff, something I never have time for 😂

I would love to see more videos like this, it’s cool to see all of the old stuff in storage, especially those matchbox cars, I know they probably aren’t even close to being the best thing in there but, I have hundreds of hotwheels and matchbox cars and it is just cool to see stuff like that
I inherited my grandmother's 90s card shop collection. It's mostly sports so I've been slowly selling some and collecting tcgs she would have loved Me selling her cards and carrying on her hobby
I've always wanted to like go to a storage unit auction and find one with great collectibles in it. It looks like so much fun to explore everything! It was cool to see some of the stuff you have, and hopefully we can see more like this in the future.

fair question haha. it was filled ceiling to floor front to back when we first got it. this is basically what's left over & I have only had time to visit it around 5 times in the last couple years just due to my schedule. hope to go back through it again soon

I hope you got your investment back in the storage unit. I think it is fun to see older packs and cards. Did you get anything interesting Magic the Gathering product in the collection? I saw some on the shelf but I couldn't tell what it was from the video.
I saw what looked to be an Alara fat pack, a Lorwyn fat pack, and above the Alara it looked almost like a reversible Mirrodin Besieged box but that may be wrong given the dimensions don't look quite right. My best assumption is they were full of singles since they didn't look to have a shine of plastic wrapping on them.
I get into buying cards here and there and yeah gotta say that I was never satisfied with evolving skies most times either! The artwork for most of the cards just isn't that good in my opinion and there are so many duplicates!
Back when i was a kid during gen 1-3 i could never have imagined seeing a grown ass man online, tossing aside so many beautiful cards just to get the glistening ones. As kids we used to flip these cards on wet asphalt to win the opponent's card, it was mega hype every recess, even the GLISTENING ONES!. "It's not about the money x3, you don't need the money x3, we just want to make the world change, forget about the price tag".
If I ever get into a situation where I can do cards for a living like this: this is my dream. Unfortunately for now that's not the case. I am a collector at heart and love doing cards. If I ever come back and can do cards for a living I'll be back for sure to mention so. THANK YOU FOR NOW DOING THE MOVE 4 CARDS FORWARD NONSENSE!!!!!!!! I genuinely dislike the time it takes to move the cards and then flip everything back over.
I mean... it's known fact that keeping the $140 dollars or buying singles is a smarter choice than gambling them on boosters... sure it's fun, but it's not very wise! lol
