    You are one of the bravest women I know! I couldn't imagine metal detecting behind Chief "Hewholeavesnothing"! I do know that you didn't pay attention when he was finding the jewelry. Here is a power point on what you missed. 1) Open beer (Preferably a tall boy). 2) Consume beer (preferably plural). 3) Look around for something to do and spot wifes metal detector. 4) Grab metal detector, walk outside, turn metal detector on. 5) Under no circumstances do you ground balance or adjust machine in any way. 6) Wave machine around in no particular pattern ( willy, nilly) with extremely high arc's as you wander around finding multiple treasures! I always enjoy your videos!

    your 7/16 clamp thing is for 7/16 osb sheets on your roof. you put it between the edges of the sheets as a spacer to allow for expansion and contraction

    good review of the go find 20 made by Minelab I have been very impressed and happy with the one I bought for my son that he never uses. I bought mine from kellyco also I've tested it in many ways you can detect items 10in down it is designed for children they swing very fast get a signal back track 2 to 3 ft the target will be there. it works well in salt water environment. and my excellent Garrett pro pointer I learned from the gigmaster how to balance out the saline mineralization signals. thanks to you both.

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks and thanks for watching! Hahahaha, too bad he's not using it. Yes, I was very surprised by how deep it was finding some of those targets. I'll be trying it at the beach again and doing a depth test there. :D

    Hi, there I'm from Australia I just got one of these the other day is it worth getting the pinpointer?
    I see it helps more finding the object because I ordered one anyway lol love your videos please more?
    I find it hurts my arm a lot after an hour or so using it, I get confused about where to dig when it goes off.

    well your testing the detector and id say it did well, your finds well about what id expect in any home yard. really saw no negatives for the detector. thanks for posting

      Yea, a bunch of building junk. Yea, it's alright for a beginner machine. I'm not a fan of the coil but I'm sure I'd learn it over time. Probably slowing down my swing would help too.

    That first find goes between the seams of your roof decking to help stiffen the seams that do not have rafters under them. Was this the mystery detector?.

    @adrianmunro7438 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good review,I love my go find 40,yes I have dug holes over 10inches already,it does go deep,yes target id numbers would be good,the go find 40 and 60 can discriminate better and have minelab app,yes pin pointing is a nightmare,hard to find centre of target,but ones you know the pin pointer option on go find..its easy to find centre.

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Oh wow, that's great. I was surprised how deep this machine was going. I know what you mean about the target id numbers. Oh I didn't know they have an app also. That's pretty neat.

    • @adrianmunro7438
      @adrianmunro7438 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The app allows you to see whole detector screen on your phone,its also great if you have Bluetooth headphones connected to you phone via the app..then its wireless detecting,the app makes the detector sounds in your earphones..and you can listen to music while detecting,music stops when you find target,with detector sound..but yes only for the go find 40/60,but yes I love it to get up an go..and I have had it in water all the way to just under control panel..waterproof to there

  • @tonybalogna6883
    @tonybalogna6883 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Def needs a different coil. I picked up on that the first target you went over. Might be a good beginners beach machine. That coil will cause a newb to dig way too much, losing interest fast. I think you hit the review spot on!

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh I know! I've actually got a ton of footage of me digging holes only to have nothing there! Either I missed the target entirely or there just wasn't anything there to begin with. No idea...

  • @ghostdevill
    @ghostdevill 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I really had some doubts aboud the Go Find 20 because you can,t really fine tune it,s range! And where i live (Holland) you need a fine tuned detector, because else you get crazy from the sound it makes all the time!

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, there's very few bells and whistles with the Go-Find 20. :/ Oh yea, too much chatter? That makes sense.

    • @ghostdevill
      @ghostdevill 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      She Detector Holland in the earlier days was a riverdelta! All the bigg rivers from Europe came trough Holland to go out in sea! So you have a lot of black sand and fine fine gold! It,s not payday to mine, but you can still find stuff from WW 2.

    Hi k I was wondering if kellyco was going to have you demo the go find 60 to show off the Bluetooth music feature on the headphones and it also is equipped with pinpointer function. Minelab and kellyco have great customer service I sent my go find 20 in under warranty for repair cuz it wouldn't turn on and they are sending me a new one now hooray!

    See if you can get Kelly Co to send you out the JW Fishers Pulse 8X with the bulkhead. And it would be fantastic for a sweep of the yard with the massive 8 X 48 oval search coil. Get the hit than target with the Tesoro Sand Shark or Sir Ringalot. :D You will have one metal free yard. Grid it out and commence Operation "SD Yard Sweep". How cool would that be? Can also use drop coil from Boaty Mc Boat Boat. Ha Ha that name always makes me laugh.

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yea, that's a heck of a machine. Hahaha, I'm sure there's a whole bunch of garbage out there. If we ever get sod put down, I'll wait until they scrape off all the current grass and then hunt the yard. :D No grass to worry about that way. :D Lol! Good, I'm glad. :D

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you and thanks for watching. It is a more rudimentary machine. I don't know that experiencedd hunters would enjoy hunting with it. I'm not a fan of the coil honestly. But it is nice to be able to collapse it and fit in in a backpack.

  • @jerrybeavers3808
    @jerrybeavers3808 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thats a great little cheap detector although I would opt for the GoFnid 60 instead. It has more options but it costs a little more. Great for backpacking or packing in suitcase. thanks for showing. Enjoyed video. I see you didn't have "Lucky" hunting with you. LOL. HH

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, I've not tried the 60 but I'm not a fan of the 20 so far. Mostly the coil. I find it hard to locate the targets honeslty. Yea, it is perfect for putting in your backpack for some quick hunts. I wouldn't have it as my primary. Good, thank you for watching! :D Hahahaha, heck no! I couldn't let him show me up again, not in front of all my peeps! :D

  • @jcburger733
    @jcburger733 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for another informative video. I think if I bought the Go-Find 20, it would be for for travel. It would be also be nice to leave in the car trunk to be ready for those addictive urges of metal detecting urges. I was surprised that you did not bury a piece of jewelry that you could find and then show your husband that you found something better ;-) That is the kind of stuff that gets me in trouble with my wife. I think she has lost her sense of humor when it comes to me.

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! Yea, it's perfect for hiking or even kayaking. It's super small so it's easy to pack away. :D Lol! I should havee thoughts about that. Lol! Well, maybe if you find her some treasures she'll be more willing to tolerate it. Hahahahaha!

    Fun. Do ever get hassled for digging? Seems like everything is restricted nowadays.

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've only been hassled once. I was digging a curb strip and the homeowner in front of the house came out and said I couldn't dig there. I politely told him it was public property and I wasn't on his land. He called the cops. The cops came and parked nearby but they never aproached me. I wasn't doing anything illegal and I wasn't on the guys property. But, to ease tensions, I left about 30-45 minutes later.

    You did a very good job and gave a awesome honest review... I would like see more companies give you their products to review mainly because you could of really bragged that detector up, but you chose to give an honest and fair review... Let me say thank you for being honest and you gave the pros, cons, and what the detector would be good for. I'm going to look into one for my preteen grandkids to use. I sure don't want them using a $500.00 detector. And I feel bad when I tell them that their not old enough to use it yet... Thank you again for being fair and honest... Be blessed... BBE...

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! And thanks for watching! :) It is hard working directly with the companies because they of course don't want you to say anything bad about the machines. But working with companies like Kellyco allows me to try different brands and say just about whatever I want about them. Oh yea, no sense in buying an expensive machine when you don't even know if they will like metal detecting.

  • @Thebigmanmetaldetecting
    @Thebigmanmetaldetecting 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cool video the reason you were having problems pinpointing was because it's an entry level detector its recovery speed is lower than other detectors your probably used to using try swinging the coil a bit slower and you'll find you can pinpoint better hope this helps GL&HH Simon p.s please feel free to subscribe me back god knows I could use it and I'll be having a minelab themed giveaway soon thank you

    Hello,
    I really like your videos.
    I got the 20 and if has a delay on spotting the target. But it picks up alot of trash and sometimes false signals. Plastic housing of overall detector seems like it going to break. If you pull out all of the detector you can see the wire and have to becareful because you can pull out the wire connections. But all in all the detector is very light and sometimes comfortable to the arm. Sorry have to say I will have to return mine because I'm not happy with it.

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Thank you and thanks for watching! Yea, I noticed that too. I tend to swing a bit faster than the Go-Find can handle. Oh really? I didn't know that. I've not pulled it that far out. I'm short so no need to. Hahaha! Yes, the light weight is nice. :) I'm not a fan of the coil, makes it hard to pin point the target in my opinion.
