as a brand new floridian, thanks for showing me how pretty the state is and thank you for making me get the urge to try detecting! lots of love as always!
The water was really clear and the beach was fairly busy. I actually enjoyed catching snippets of people and voices in the background. I guess we’ll never know why there were so many pennies in one spot but it made for a fun and interesting hunt. Nice video Kay !!!
Even though ya didn't find precious metal's, you had a fun time hunting, and in my opinion, that's what it's all about. Good luck from North Carolina 🇺🇲🙂‼️
I enjoyed this video. You seem to find better things in the water. When I was a kid I had a pocket full of change that I lost while swimming at Surfside in Texas. I lost every coin! I hope you'll do more detecting in the water. You'll find rings out there.
it tickled me when you said "booo" at lousy targets, that is not the word i use when i find them. i really liked the view of the hunt location at the beginning, calm and quiet
You finally found all the pennies I planted for you 😅 Just kidding 😉 I almost always have change in my pocket, but pennies are the first thing I get rid of. Even if I'm using a credit card at the self checkout, I'll use the change in my pocket first. That was super clear and calm water. Is it like that often? I'm usually on the Atlantic side and it always seems like there are waves. Maybe I'll have to switch things up.
Nice hunt. Have you given any consideration of purchasing an underwater metal detector and hunting in deeper water? Check out Nora Svet’s channel for the type of equipment she using to detect. Happy hunting. 👍
Lol,1954 wheat penny, she says, I wonder if it's copper, idk what year they started making them copper!!! They were, copper, until 1982,then both copper with little zinc,1983 to current, they are 95% or so zinc, and 3% copper and 2& something else. You should definitely learn the coin history, and their composition

Hearing those many shells jangling in the scoop would make me excited that I had found the mother lode of coins!
Thanks for the video.
let's go let's go treasure and adventure✌✌👵
A peaceful and relaxing hunt. And your Double score?...earning its' keep...😊
I really liked the camera work on this hunt as I felt like I was almost doing it myself! Good job!
So ready to get back out there!!!!
Very awesome hunt and spill.

Nevermind the know-it-alls. You are doing great and I very much enjoy your videos!
Good luck with your hunting.
Nice hunt thanks!!!!!
Good job! Thanks for the post.
1982 was the last year for copper pennies. It was a transition year with half the pennies being copper and half the horrible zinc pennies
it tickled me when you said "booo" at lousy targets, that is not the word i use when i find them. i really liked the view of the hunt location at the beginning, calm and quiet

In 1982 they were copper and zinc cents. 1983 was the first full year of copper-plated zinc.
so far found $3.75 and a pair of blue tooth earbuds. that are $14. - $20.
Have you looked at the new Garrett Vortex?
Have you ever seen a shark while in the water detecting?? I've seen some off siesta key before
FYI - pennies were copper until 1981 ... except for 1943. Copper pennies are worth about 3 cents today.
The question is when they stopped using copper. That is 1982. 95% zinc and 5% copper. Good Wheatley.
And I forgot awesome video
Wow that was pretty good it could mean that the pennies were dropped by multiple people in the same area what are the chances.😊
Nice imitation of a horse thrashing water bye the way. I think someone salted that area for you . They knew that you would be along sooner or later.
A little child would be fascinated to carry a handful of pennies, until they forgot they had them and started playing in the water....

People do "seed" the beaches with pennys. I think they do not like detectorists because of the bad eggs that do not fill in their holes.
