@@1987heff i always play on a megalomaniac map (you can unlock it in the settings) and it often depends on the situation. especially towards the endgame, you can notice jerks. also, you can no longer see any difference between the 3 speed levels of the simulation. I would say that if you play on a megalomaniac map with AI and want it to run reasonably "smoothly", i.e. still playable, this is a minimum (from my settings).
I also play on the same map and ya noticed the fast forward thing just stays slow.amd if I'm deleting track or pulling down ports it takes ages like 20/30sec to place or delete.
What is your pc build if you don't mind me asking.

@@Fabtendo_X2 do you find your game lagging ive Ryzen 5 3600 with 1660 super and find my game is nearly at a stand still.

I've read GPU with lots of Vram can help.
