Joe, a big reason for how busy some of your trains (esp. Midland Mainline) is the lack of connections between London and the 'transpennine' cities. Anyone going from London to Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds needs to change at Sheffield (or possibly York), putting more pressure on cross-country/transpennine trains. I think you need a non stop east coast service from London to Leeds, and/or a London - Manchester via Trent valley service. The latter could have an additional stop on the other side of Birmingham (called Nuneaton or Lichfield etc.) since that side of Birmingham is currently very poorly served. Great video as always!
Joe can you do the following in the next couple episodes: Put the Tyne and Wear Metro around Newcastle Replace the Carlisle, Manchester and Sheffield trams with Tatras or the LVS 86 Put a ferry service from Yarmouth - Southampton/Portsmouth Replace the Newcastle - Middlesbrough bus with Tees Motor Atleanteans Add a Berwick - Newcastle bus using Northumbria branded buses Replace the Middlesbrough Town Runner with Tees Motor Nationals Add the ECML Lincoln and Leeds services using HSTs (Leeds can have 91s when they come out) Replace some of the freight trains with 56s, 37s, 47s and 58s Add the WCML Shrewsbury, Manchester and Liverpool services with 86s and 87s Add the Chelmsford service from London using 302s Add the southern London terminus using the name London Wartoria Street with 6 platforms When 1988 hits add the Thameslink Project in with Brighton - Peterborough services Add a local service from Newcastle - Carlisle using 110s for now
Best to re-give trains their route when you do platform/track alterations. It resets their route programme. I usually do it for the whole line to prevent them going AWOL across the map. lol
