  • In this video I finish dismantling a Lombardy Poplar. The tree was mainly stripped out the day before. Our aim in this video was to remove all the branches, take the top out and dismantle the timber. This would all be removed from site. We originally came to this site to remove a number few months ago but this Poplar had to be left for a while.
    Watch the video to see how I dismantled the tree. To see more videos like this check out my playlists on the links below.

      Cheers mate, it was pretty tall. Looks good on camera because there is no other trees next to it. Felt like you was in the middle of know where.🤣

    Really nice.
    I did my first dismantle yesterday. Nasty ivy covered ash. With a silky! Haha. Was unendingly criticised for being too slow so do you have any tips for spiking up trees choked with ivy?? I found it really hard and kept on slipping off, which hurt lol. Anyway, thanks for the vids :)

    • @MattGlynn
      @MattGlynn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey thanks glad you like the videos! Good work on your first dismantle! Speed will come with time so i wouldn't worry to much, especially an Ivy covered one 🤢. I have used a small hatchet axe before to cut the ivy off on the way up. Just watch your ropes though! Thanks for you comment really appreciate it!👍
