Love A Speed line Job - UK Arborist Tree Removal

I love a job where we can utilise a speed line set up. I feel it makes the work flow nicely throughout the day. Decided on a speed line as there was a nice high tie in point and no where to really rig the branches down. Great job by the lads at MP Tree Care running the ropes.

Yeah, just a cheap quick thing i did. There is a small piece of metal wire in the core too. I keep it in my gear bag and clip all the stuff to it to keep it together - works great 👍

It is yeah. 10" bar on the 150T. I run the 12" on the 194T too. 👍

Where are they slings from for that speed lining?

I think their Lyon Slings, mixture of 120cm and 80cm. Loads of places do them online.

Tidy job! What's your mainline these days? I think you were using blue tongue in the past. How dies it compare? I'm using blue tongue at the moment but don't like it much. It seems heavy and feels like 13mm rope somehow...

Yeah blue tongue was awesome, a brilliant all around rope. Been using the Edelrid woodpecker for a while, ready for changing now though really. Its a nice rope, served its purpose but not very robust.
