This is Swahili country where the lifestyle is not "Haraka, Haraka" (Faster, Faster), but "Polepole", (Slowly, Slowly.)
The jungle accommodation is based on the design of a traditional Swahili "Kibanda". We were surrounded by lots of wild and free primates.
Beautiful, calm and bashful, Colubus Monkeys who spend most of their time high up in the trees.They are herbivorous, eating high protein leaves, unripe fruit,seeds and flowers
The Vervet Monkeys are the most mischievous monkeys on the planet, they are equally at home in the trees or on the ground, are omnivorous, eating vegetable matter as well as insects, grubs and birds eggs.
Take a trip or two on a traditional Swahili sailboat and snorkel through this fascinating underwater wonderland.
