    So much more helpful than Ergobaby's demo, thank you!

    I’ve watched about 4 different videos on how to back carry with the Ergobaby 360, and this has been the most helpful-thank you so much!

    That looks waaay safer than the official Ergobaby demo. Can't wait to try it with my 10 month old!

      I’m so glad it’s useful. Let me know how it goes once you’ve tried it. Sarah. X

    I have found this while researching using my ergo baby for holidays in July. He will be 3 in September and weighs 15kg. He feels comfortable but just want to check. Thank you. This has been the most useful video I have found.

      At his age, there are carriers that would feel more comfortable simply by fitting him from knee to knee, but if he’s within the weight limit - go for it.

    Thank you for this video!! I had tried it following the ergobaby demo and it just felt so unsafe and scary to do alone so I had only done it once. Excited to try it again!

    Should you put the waist strap more at waist height instead of hip height if your 14 month old is 30inches tall?? We went hiking and it was very lopsided

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Sorry, I only just saw this. You want your child’s head to be almost at the same height as yours, so put the waistband at the right height to achieve that. If they feel lopsided, feel where their knees are in relation to the edges of the seat - you may find they have more leg out on one side than the other. If so, put a hand inside the carrier, under their bottom & bounce them into the middle.

    SO helpful!!!! The leg slings are also at the outside position? (Not the velcro ones, the ones with the buttons or sliders)

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. The sliders/buttons are to adjust the carrier when you are using it with the baby facing away from you - allowing them to be held in a seated position. For a back carry, as the baby is facing towards your body, the sliders/buttons should be in the wider position. Have a look at my other Omni 360 videos to see how to use it in the facing away position on your front.

    Can I wear my 19month old like this? I just watched the ergobaby official video and tried it and she just kept falling straight out of it!!

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure! If it helps, practice over a soft surface or have someone standing just inside your personal spaces (but NOT touching or “helping”). They can then support your child IF you feel like you need the help while you’re learning.

    My baby is 5 months now and I didn't know my ergibaby can do the back position 🙁 I guess 360 didn't click in a sleep deprived mum brain

    • @Lisa-ih7fk
      @Lisa-ih7fk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Don't worry, I'm pretty sure it isn't advised to put baby in this position until around 6 months plus when they have consistent and sturdy head control

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Lisa-ih7fk Yes, absolutely right! In this carrier, the back carry position isn’t ideal until around 6m, or when your baby can sit unaided. 👍🏼

    can I do it with my 8 months old boy?

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      From around 6m, or when they’re sitting unaided, is absolutely fine. 👍🏼

    Can I do this with my newborn?

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ErgoBaby advise from 6m or when they are sitting unaided. If you need to back carry your newborn, please book a session with your local Babywearing Consultant who can help you find the most appropriate way to do so. Slingpages.co.uk is a great way to find someone close to you.
