The plan is to start with pelliper and lapras. First turn Gigantimax Lapras and Gmax Resonance to set up Aurora Veil for 8 turns.
Then use Max-Quake and Max-Steelspike to boost up lapras's bulk. For Pelliper either set up tailwind or switch it out. This team shows great synergy by using surf to heal lapras, heliolisk and seismatoad. Although ferrothorn is better coverage and bulk decorate Alcreamie should not be underestimated. It is essentially a free weakness policy. For vaporeon use it to baton pass focus energy to sniper kingdra (change sniper kingdra's focus energy to hurricane).Btw ferrothorn's weakness to fire are decreases as it is raining. For kingdra sniper can fire draco meteor freely despite s.atk. loss and hit any pokemon that have high boost but swift swim give great speed and coverage but not that much power. If you want to dump lapras you can change it for dracovish, hydration goodra or dry skin toxicroak.

Contrary assist "Beer" Sweep: Use a contrary assist spinda called Beer since it looks like it had too much beer if shiny even better, one smeargle with spore, trick room, sticky web and oblivion wing to make spinda faster and heal, the rest of the smeargles with moves that boost spinda so spinda sweeps.

My favorite water type depends if you mean competitively or design. If you’re talking competitively I like Lapras because of Perish Song, Block, Rest, Rain Dance, and its really good HP and defense. Otherwise, I like Wingull.
