I have only ever known two footballing gods in my life: Rodney Marsh & Stan Bowles. Save Matt Le Tissier? The most naturally talented English footballers of my lifetime. Dismissed by England football managers for being too 'maverick'. If they'd been Brazilian? They would have had 100 caps...QPR 4 EVER!
Too much boozing and they wouldn't have worked for the team which you have to do at international level. Brazilians then had as much teamwork as any less spectacular side.
