    What's scary when you think about it is that most of these were discovered because the father was another race, which I think must actually be a very small minority of cases. So can you imagine all the cases of paternity fraud out there, which were never discovered because the husband and the lover were the same race?

      The Idiot Films Yes, you can give up your legal rights to a child..... But not your "legal responsibilities", as it is about the "best interest of the child"(fail to see how not having a biological father in their lives is in the best interest of the child though.). Legal rights AND responsibility surrender is reserved for women in the "baby Moses" laws. Hospitals, churches and I believe some government buildings (don't quote me on this, just check for yourselves) are the places where mother's can legally abandon their children. When it is done, the father(biological or otherwise) in some states, is normally not contacted for the opportunity to gain custody of said children. She can also not be gone after for child support in most cases (can't say all because I have heard of ONE case, though it had some extenuating circumstances if I remember correctly). For accurate laws in your area, I encourage you to look up "legal child abandonment", "legal child/maternal surrender", and "baby Moses" laws in your state/province/country. Most have it, or something similar for women. I have yet to be shown one that absolves men of responsibility if the mother goes after him for child support.

      Steve Blakley Sad thing is, it is in the best interest of the child to have a father whose in a stable marriage. Many men will also eventually love that kid. They will raise them and work to provide a good life for them. It’s clear to all involved that the newborn is the real victim in the situation. That child had nothing to do with her/his mother’s choices.

    • @scottwall8419
      @scottwall8419 4 ปีที่แล้ว +31

      @@acephas3 it is not in the best interest of the husband to raise a woman's child that he thought he could trust, working day after day toward another man's child's future. Men should test their women on stuff like this, throw these situations at them and see how they react, men don't test their wife's and qualify their gfs for marriage good enough anymore. If you do stay with a woman who is having another man's baby....ill just say, make her going back to work to support the child a condition of you staying. She destroyed the life you two set up together, make her do the hard work to put it back together again if possible. If you think this is unreasonable to test gfs and making a new mother go back to work to support her lovers child then your not marriage or gf material.

I was first to arrive and she about fainted when they said “it’s a girl!” Then they immediately told her to count back from 100 as they put a mask over her nose and mouth so they could get my brother who was in distress out via cesarean. I'm extremely white (see profile pic) and my fiancee's pretty close in tone to a Hershey's bar. When she went into labor and we got to the hospital, I was asked at least a dozen times if I was certain that I was the father. Even after our daughter came out and she was a perfect mix of our tones, the nurses kept asking.
    Maybe they let their prejudices fly in the face of an interracial couple, or maybe it was because I had a cool head the entire time and wasn't doing the 'new father freakout' that everyone else seems to think is normal. Either way, it was completely unprofessional to be asking that question that many goddamn times.

    A similar type of scare happened a lot when I was around toddler age. Despite both of my parents being very white and my dad being my biological father, I was often mistaken for being of Asian descent due to hair color/texture and how my eyes looked for several years when I was ~1-3 years old. While I have grown out of those traits as I have gotten older, I later found out that there was likely a few very very distant relatives on my dad's side who were from somewhere in Asia

My brother and I came out olive skinned with blue eyes and straight black hair that turned a sandy brown as toddlers then turned back to a chocolate brown the older we got (mine got curlier the older I got as well) People still ask my parents if I’m adopted because of my skin tone and curly hair. I heard a story back in the '60s, I believe, that Dinah Shore once had a Black baby, and couldn't figure out where it came from, as she claimed she hadn't cheated. It came out later (after there was a great Hollywood scandal) that evidently, she had a Black ancestor, and the gene had become dominant in the baby.
    When my sister was born, she came out almost charcoal black, because the attending doctor was more interested (so Mother claimed) in watching the old sow have piglets than deliver a baby, and her umbilical cord had wrapped around her throat and almost strangled her. This was in the early'50s, when doctors made house calls. Luckily, my sister survived, and prospered.

My mom had to show my dad her baby pictures because they were really gonna divorce.

    19:42 This happened to me. My parents say whenever my mum got an ultrasound I was crossing my legs, so the doctor had no idea of my sex and just assumed I was a girl. Fast forward nine months and out comes a perfectly average boy with dong and balls lol

    My parents, both white and blond haired, were VERY confused when I was born...with brown skin and black hair. But after a few weeks, my skin lightened up and my black hair fell out, replaced by blonde hair. The doctor luckily explained to my parents that sometimes, a baby is born with more melanin in their bodies but that it fades after a while^^

    My old welding instructor and his wife, many moons ago, are both dark haired and dark eyed. Their firstborn daughter came out red haired and green eyed. Theories of someone "hopping the fence" circulated among the rookies, but those of us who knew just giggled. They may have been dark haired and eyed, but their families on both sides were as Irish/Norse as could be.

    I remember reading an article about twin boys with parents who were black and white. The other twin was extremely pale, fair-haired and had caucasian facial features, while the other one was very dark brown skinned, with coily hair and black facial features. They looked nothing alike, not like they could be even distantly related, and yet they were twins!

    My grandma was convinced that my aunt wasn't her baby bc my aunt was born with dark hair, dark brown eyes, and more of an olive skin tone. She was definitely her daughter and definitely not a result of affair as we've all taken DNA tests and she is a full sibling of my dad and other aunts/uncles. She was just born with darker hair, skin, eyes like my grandpa's sister compared to the rest of the family 🤷🏼‍♀️

    My family and extended family are mixed. Never married/relationships to foreigners. One cousin looks Chinese with the eyes and pale white with older brothers pale brown. This type of situation will be rare because most of our generation have mixed parentage centuries ago and no one can determine if someone cheated this way. Most likely a baby will be suspected as not theirs if the cheating was discovered/suspected beforehand. We are a mixed bloodline from centuries ago.

    My mum is white, short, and had brown hair, my dad also white, tall, black hair. I looked like hispanic with pitch black hair. After a bit I lightened up, and now am tall, white female with long, brown hair. After my birth my mom had premature hair greying, so everyone joked around saying it was my fault lmao.

    My boyfriend’s dad literally said “that’s not mine” when he was born. My boyfriend was born with blonde hair and blue eyes and his mum and dad have dark hair and dark eyes. We love recessive genes. I was similar. I have blonde hair but my mother and dad have dark hair.

    When I was a baby I was a snow-white look alike, people thought my Mexican mom was my nanny. On the flip side, they asked our white dad if my Mexican looking sister was adopted. Genetics are funny, but people's assumptions are even funnier.

    My 7th grade teacher had a lot of kids because she couldn't afford birth control. Her first daughter was actually in her class. Everyone thought that she was joking when she said that the teacher was her mom because teacher was white and she was black. I was good friends with her. At some point, my teacher announced she was having another kid (4th kid). No one else in the class got to meet the other kids but I did because I was friends with the teacher's daughter. I went to her house for a party and I got to meet the two children (apparently she had a 5th kid at some point after 7th grade year). I met the 4th and 5th kid, then met their dad, and it all clicked it my head. My pale skinned teacher had 5 kids, all in varying shades of black. She was married to a really pale white dude. The grandparents were also pale.
    I have my suspicions.

    I'm from the Philippines. Mom is a Filipina with brown skin, deep set eyes and kinky black hair, from Spanish descent. Dad has straight black hair, deep set eyes and tan skin, with German descent. Came out of mom dark as wood, with slits for eyes. I then turned yellow a few hours after. Now I'm vampire-pale with deep set eyes and a head with hair that is half straight and half curly. Wouldn't pass for Filipino at first glance. Classmates spread rumor that my dad ain't my actual dad because I apparently look "too European/too white" but I have the exact same eyes as my Dad. People and their prejudice, jeez

    Both my parents have hazel eyes and my grandmother on my dad's side has blue eyes. My grandmother on my mom's side I'm not sure. Both my sister and I have dark brown eyes. Maybe with age, they'll lighten but damn do I love the look of blue or Hazel eyes, I just wish mine were more interesting like that. Who knows, maybe if they invent a cheaper way to have biological kids female from female my baby, despite my gf having brown eyes, will have blue from a recessive gene. Maybe my nice's and nephews will have blue eyes lol who knows?

    • @The_Sigillite
      @The_Sigillite 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well once we get to the level of genetic manipulation, presuming it can be done safely (fingers crossed) then modifying the baby's gene s to have blue probably wouldn't be out of the question.

    Ive got one for you but it might be pretty long. I come from a very big family, mixed race. My mom's family immigrated from Czechoslovakia years ago, but turns out they are primarily Irish with some english and scandinavian. Her mother is very olive tone but her and her father who is more scandinavian are very pale. She used to always taell me how much ai look like him (my grandfather.) My father's family however, is Pascua Yaqui on his moms side from Mexico, and his Dad is white, however his step dad is Mexican and his siblings are all from his step dad as his father passed away when he was 4 years old. So altogether I have 15 siblings 9 full blooded and 6 half with 9 sisters and 6 brothers. Out of all of my siblings, all of my brothers and a few of my sisters are very tan with obvious hispanic traits. When I was born however, I was born with thin blonde hair, pale skin, and obvious irish/english features even pink cheeks. My father denied me for my whole life since birth, and we were all born at home mind you none of us were born in a hospital except one of my brothers due to complications. It hasn't been until very recently after DNA tests and my father discovering he is only 35% native and not a full 50%, and putting together exactly how much like his father that I look like that he accepts me. Growing up however I was made to feel like I was the reason for a lot of resentment between my parents and my father constantly accusing her of being a cheater even as a stay at home mom with all of us kids in a 3 bedroom trailer. Crazy world

      I had a neighbour that, despite the father being black, had a baby with blue eyes, after maaaany problems, affair accusations, and discussions, they discovered that her great-grandfather had blue eyes, and the baby simply had the recessive gene ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
