Hi Bart. This week it’s one step forward & one step back. Water problems can be a pain to solve at times, especially when you don’t know where it’s coming from. Never mind, you will find a solution, you always do. On a good note. The outside pointing looks great & the gutters are done👍🏻😉 & you got some of the grouting done in the apartments. It’s tricking boxes every day. Soon you will be cooking in your outdoor kitchen, drinking a glass of Vino. Swimming in the pool & enjoying the rewards of your efforts. I see you have artichokes & grapes coming along in the food forest. The roses & honeysuckle look beautiful too. The garden and your new planted trees are getting a good soaking with all this rain, which is a blessing. The pointing of the outside wall looks stunning, especially the contrast with the newly dark stained timbers in the wall. To top it of you put in the gutter, perfect! All this rain has brought new life to dried up streams, I know you will find a way to fix this problem, you have already put in so many orange pipes so you can always find a way to get rid of the exces water. Maybe you should leave the area next to the house(the area you are digging in) as a wadi with a catchment to drain away towards the ponds. I can't wait to see what you will do this coming week. Last year I was struggling to get some water to the young trees and plants and many dried in summer. That will be one less problme this year. Dit is even een tegenvaller. Regen kan een behoorlijke lastpost zijn bij dit project. Maar uiteindelijk komt er een oplossing voor. Hier in Nederland is het niet veel beter wat betreft het weer. Daarom hebben wij besloten 2 weken weg te gaan richting de zon. Inmiddels zijn we op het eiland Zakynthos. Dus vanuit Zante wens ik je voor de komende weken succes. 👍👍👍

Well I am not really pissed. Quit happy with the rainfall. The old folks say that the weather will change after the cicle of the moon so around the 6th of June. But it has been really wet. In 6 years I haven't seen that much rain. Greetings

I have a question water is falling by gravity right now, you know roughly where it is, instead dig front in your house could you do it behind you house and try to to make a French drainage to catch the water before it get through your house and deviate it to your water collection point. Mate I know is not easy task, but placing a french drainage behind your house be could help you to catch any water that comes near to it and relief any futher problem. It will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. I thought maybe some modern technoly like LIDAR radar, but that is unknown around here. It is an underground stream ...Looking for something more simple. Maybe turn it into a pond? Greetings
